LuisMa Posted April 20, 2013 at 04:47 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 04:47 PM the video works, i like the song now.............. It's growing on me as well because of that... Quote
mike_z Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:21 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:21 PM the video works, i like the song now.............. Exactly! That's a FACT. People are praising the song and the video on YouTube. It already has 1000 "likes" in one day, whereas the video for "Le Miracle" has been around for 6 months and only has 6000 "likes". And it was released during heavy promotion! It was a VERY smart move... AND... I still have my hopes. We have a big show in Québec coming up in 3 months. Either they're gonna have to promote this song, or it's a perfect timing for a 4th single. Maybe for Canada only, but I think we might get "Je N'ai pas besoin d'amour" or even "Attendre". "Attendre" can be a big hit but it needs to be promoted. The third option for them is to follow SA's "tracklist" and release "L'amour peut prendre froid". It could definitely chart in France as Johnny is big there, and maybe with a video generate some buzz over the album again. Either way, it's very likely that "Sans Attendre" will experience a new boost, and maybe it gives us some hopes for a "Collectors Edition" for Christmas and maybe (I'm just dreaming!) a big concert in Bercy or at Stade De France, to crown the success of this era. We would get a double DVD, Céline une seule fois "Sur les Plaines + Au Stade de France". 6 Quote
mike_z Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:37 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:37 PM New article on the QPVSA music video on "CHARTSINFRANCE": http://www.chartsinfrance.net/Celine-Dion/news-85442.html Basically, they praise her new rock and roll side. They mention this video is better than the 2 previous ones, and that it might seduce a younger audience for the album that continues to sell. It also mentions the fact that it's very rare from her to release a third video from an album. Finally, they say that René had mentioned to Le Journal de Montréal a while ago that they were thinking about a short european promo tour, but that the idea seemed abandoned now. They don't mention the concert in Québec, though. 1 Quote
browseceline Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:50 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 05:50 PM the idea has been abandoned... well that does not sound strange to me. I hope I will see her in Amsterdam soon again. Hopefully in 2014. Maybe years later.. mike_z Posted April 20, 2013 at 06:32 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 06:32 PM By the way, the CHARTSINFRANCE article has 339 comments, more than the video on YouTube. This video actually made people talk. Many haters as well (bc they feel threatened ). Really guys, I believe this video will help the song more than we think! Quote
Macaronie Posted April 20, 2013 at 06:50 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 06:50 PM Yup I can see clearly the resemblance with those two videos that dude posted. About the video. The head shots with fan and dramatic effects are the only good bits of this video. Concept is very unoriginal, she just stands there like a boring choochoo, yes it's stylish for a faghag, but seriously...chest pumping and air guitar shots. Yea. Cool mate. Next. 2 Quote

It's the new PQTME!Hopefully Rene will also see the full potential of "Attendre" and do something about it (release it as the fourth single). I know it's close to impossible, but still it'd be great. 3 Quote

Imagine music videos for those songs I agree with all 3 of your choices, I personally wasnt a fan of the 3 chosen singles Dont get me wrong love all 3 songs but wasnt a fan as them being a single. There are many more capable songs that should have been released as singles. But Overall it doesnt matter because the album is great! Edited April 20, 2013 at 08:23 PM by Nmj 2 Quote
LukeD Posted April 20, 2013 at 09:11 PM Posted April 20, 2013 at 09:11 PM I agree with Mike that they shouldn't use ''Si je n'ai rien de toi'' now that ''Qui peut vivre sans amour'' was released as a single. ''Attendre'' & ''Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour'' are their best options. They should release one of these in late June with a music video. This & the concert in Quebec (where I hope she'll be singing at least 5 songs from ''Sans Attendre'') seems like the best way to end this wonderful era. And then maybe a DVD/CD release of the concert could follow. 1 Quote

mike_z Posted April 21, 2013 at 03:03 PM Posted April 21, 2013 at 03:03 PM maybe a sleeper hit?... like PAMP? Quote
LuisMa Posted April 21, 2013 at 03:11 PM Posted April 21, 2013 at 03:11 PM (edited) As I see in the link that Tommy kindly provided, QPVSA has been on the Airplay Charts for 4 weeks. I guess it was available for airplay 1 or 2 weeks before that. Now the question is when the heck they're going to make it available on iTunes as a single release, if they ever intend to. I wonder why the marketing team did not place a big banner or something on iTunes this week, tying it to the video release. With no promo aligned soon, I wonder whether this will become a hit, or if they have interest in pushing it a little more agressively. For starters, the video is a good push, so I hope they have more aces up their sleeves and do not waste another opportunity for an airplay/sales hit. Edited April 21, 2013 at 03:12 PM by LuisMa Quote
