I think it is a very good music video, I want to watch it over and over; and that does not happen with Le Miracle...

I don't like the dancers in it, we have seen this type of thing before in "A New Day concert" and the Taking chances tour....Im actually kind of sick of seeing those dancers jumping around, Its obviously very beautiful dancing but we have seen this idea on stage already +++ , And What the hell was with those angry dancers in the desert, what were they so angry about anyway!!!??? It reminded me of an Elton John video (an angry couple dancing naked around their house) I would much prefer the whole video to be of Celine like if she acted like in her old videos "FALLING INTO YOU" or PQTMQ or THINK TWICE. (BIG HITS)This video was grand , but I just wish it was Celine dancing not those strangers with their legs wrapped around each other flying around the place for reasons we do not know!!!!! :wacko: :sleep:

 

I'm sure the dancers represent the different feelings and moods you have in a relationship, in the desert I just thought they were showing that anger also comes from love

U know what then u look at me was a better video then that one , i want u to need me better, live better ,if walles could talk .at least we could see her the whole video not 10 shots and then various of useless shots camon wake up team celine

I really liked it. It's powerful and shows us GREAT Celine's angles. She couldn't miss the opportunity to play some air-guitar! :) And guess what? They included a DESERT! How surprising! Is it the same same desert that appears in the PAMP music video?

to me it looks like it was shot in a warehouse; a good video, though

 

However, there is one thing I don't like about it: the scenes in the video are fluent only in the beginning of the video and then the scenes are shaky and it looks like there are consecutive pictures following one another. Initially, I thought that my internet connection is too low and the video is loading too slowly

What the F is this crap?!

 

Why does it seem as if her music videos gets worse and worse? Why are they always built up by the same "safe" and oh so dated pictures? Why does she always stand there in the exact same "coreography" ever since I'm Your Angel?

 

On top of that it's a sad (and poor) "immitation" of P!nk's video for Try. Try had a very nice video, with well planned coreagraphy and great shots. This video has taken a few parts of that video, run it in a loop (with no logic), put an angry face here and an angry face there (coz gee that'd be cool!! ...well, no) and add in a couple of ordinary Dion shots and voila! What do we have? Just another waste of song and effort.

 

The drama in this track is something they could actually have worked with....

Many people are wishing she would of been the dancer.....can she dance like that? I mean I know they would of changed it around some. Believe me I would of liked to see her doing something other then just being the narrator to this video. I love this video, especially the opening but I have always liked this song!

Always hated the song. Video is just so lame. SJNRdeT would have been a much better choice. My only hope is that Attendre gets released as the last single. Only way it will happen is if this song flops or else it will interfere with the English single.

I also thought 'bout Try music video when i saw the couple dancing. But... Céline is a lady. I can't imagine her dancing like P!nk! lol

 

Hm. I read a interview with Daft Punk today and i think that it can explain Céline's latest music videos.

 

“Firstly, we don’t want to influence people’s ideas [of the music] with images."

 

Céline said, when she was promoting Sans Attendre, that the album it's al about her life, her family, her feelings... She loved to record this album, she loved these new songs, she want to make us feel closer to her. I don't know if she has any influence on promo plans but, if so, i think that she's doing what she wants. And, in my opinion, record epic mega-produced is not her plan. She wants to make us enjoy her music.

 

I don't want to disrespect you but i think we all should be glad for Céline's work. e.g. Agnetha Faltskög, from ABBA, was a few years younger than Céline (in 1987) when she released I Stand Alone and then... 17 years. A hiatus from music and from public life.

 

Can you imagine 17 years without Céline? She has some reasons to do it, right? She has 2 babies... An old husband + mom...

 

I'm not saying that we have to sit and applause her decisions. We all have the right to say whatever we want to say. But... We know that criticize doesn't change anything. Unfortunatelly, Céline isn't a member of this forum. hahah

 

We have to try to understand her (and her team) decisions and... Enjoy her music!

When people say this video is "cheap" it makes me wonder if we are watching the same video! I feel like this video is by far the best off of the SA album and celine looks amazing in it! Just because there is no story to the video doesn't mean it's cheap. And btw please tell me the last a celine video did have a story to it? "Taking Chances" would hardly qualify. Btw we should all just be great fully that we have had 3 videos for this album. "Taking Chances"'only had 1 video and a stupid live concert lipped video of "alone":/

This video is made to bring attention to Sans attendre and I think it works. Sony won't spend a big fortune on the 3rd video (or any video for that matter) from a French album...It's a much smaller audience compared to her English videos.

 

Many non Céline fans might be a pleasantly surprised by this video, unlike some of her fans... :D

I agree. Sometimes I think that us fans could be her best friend or her worst enemy. :laugh:

 

We put so much pressure on her sometimes or better said, have high expectations! Thankfully, she pleases some in a way, and others in a different way.

I have to say I am very pleased with this video. I agree some parts look a bit - New Day-ish, but then again, Celine does come over as a powerdiva and I like the dancing couple that represents the passion in this song. I do see some similarities with the earlier fanmade video, which had fantastic scenery and scenes, but yes I really like this video and Celine looks great, her hair looks amazing. I don't think it is that cheap as some as you think it is.

Some parts look a lot like the photos from the taking chances booklet ( smoke in the room). From all videos that have been released for the Sans Attendre Album, this is definately my favorite! And I am happy they used the albumversion instead of the edited radio-version:-)
