Yes, it's totally possible. Labels send the singles to radios (well to radios that play the type of song released - R&B single to R&B radios, etc.) but the radio stations are free to play it or not. And some radio stations sometimes play a new single once and ask listeners to vote to keep it on their playlist or not. So we never know...

And surprise surprise, the radio single has some little changes in the music! They deleted the guitars on the chorus, it sounds less rock than the album version in fact!

I kinda like what I hear, it's nice to hear that piano bit... I guess it's a bit more radio friendly, but seriously, there was no need in altering the song!

It kinda takes away the edge of the song... Just like when here in Holland, for Skyradio, they took out the bridge of Taking Chances, which made the song so much more less appealing

Good news that radios started to play the song. I guess we will get the video soon. The only thing that worries me is how much they changed the song. Maybe someone who heard it can tell.

I don't like the idea of deleting the guitars. On the contrary, I would add them even more. Especially in the instrumental part. I like those piano and violin segments though.

i don't mind it at all. I remember the first time i heard the song, i thought the guitars were a bit cheezy (i know it should be the opposite effect...)

 

I love this new edit, the violons are standing out. Still very dark and edgy for Celine.

 

Much more radio friendly than the original.

 

Its nice that they aren't throwing just any song to the radio, they really want this to work out... I guess this mean we'll get a good promo.
