I don't know what Céline consider by "edgy", but in the context of "Sans attendre" album, this song can certainly be classified as edgy. But if we look back on her career in the past we can see that she is capable to do much edgier things (especially Unison and Dion chante Plamondon days). And in the context of modern music of 21st century in general, "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" is far from being edgy. I have a feeling that it just pretends to be, but it's not. The same like it was for "Taking Chances" album. Which I don't think it's bad. I do enjoy it, but it's hard that this song will bring some new fans.

 

Looking forward to the video. :)

Yes, I've always wondered what she classifies as edgy also! She is just funny when she says it! I guess anything other than a ballad would be considered edgy to her? But yes she is capable of much more, for example, TJTWIM

Definitely. 'Refuse To Dance' is also very different from everything she's ever done.

So was "The Reason"... she became Tina Turner. ROCK IT!

 

"Unison" was and still is a very sexy song... So was "Delivre-Moi"

 

"Too Much" was pretty edgy too!

I have a wish for a black & white video with some artistic touch. Something strong and visually interesting.

But I fear we will get another close up shoots of Céline singing and walking around. All that mixed with images of random people.

Only this time she will have more dramatic face expressions...

Oh well... maybe that's better than nothing... I guess... We'll see.

We shouldn't have any expectations, and if anything good comes out of this video, just be surprised by it!

 

I'm expecting a boring, lost opportunity video, hope I'm wrong!

 

I haven't had expectations for her videos in a while. I figure I can't be too disappointed by them if I don't have an expectation for them.

Keep in mind that a video with her singing the song and not participating on any story could be Huge as well, like the video for 'Only One Road'

So looks like Celine has been with the flu these past few days, I wonder if this was a reason to cancel the video shooting or change the original concept they had for it.

That's usually language for we had a great idea but now have had to adapt and will be doing a cheap alternative just to get a video. I'd rather wait a bit to get the original video if that is the case.

It would be an excuse for them; the original idea for the video of 'Tout Pres Du Bonheur' was to shoot it in the dessert, but due to Celine's health conditions at that time, they had to film it at the Colosseum

Well, the video shooting could wait one more week. It's not that much time. I hope they don't do a stupidity and change the plans for a mediocre video only for one week of time.

Lol! Because if you do have the "flu" you usually look like crap! She didn't really look her best in China. Hopefully it was already shot and is in the process of being released. :)

I wouldn't be too worried about it being shot before she returns to Vegas guys, PAMP was shot while she was still doing concerts (it was shot on off days) so I don't think the flu will hinder it too much, it said she was over it and that she was just told to rest so....
