I want one of the big posters SO bad!
They are fantastic!
I do to, there's a fifty fifty chance I may get the one from my theater. I'm not certain but I do believe the woman on the phone said sometimes employee's will take the posters. I hope no one wants the Celine one I really hoping the manager calls in the next couple days. If she doesn't then I may call back and see if anything has changed.

Me too! I'm soo hoping the manager will call me today :yes: Hopefully the same number that's programed in my phone is the one she calls from that way I'll know to answer it and not let it go to voicemail. I mean if its a local number I'll leave class and answer it anyway.

I want to go see this movie again SO bad. It was excellent and I surprisingly wasn't too excited before I went to go see it but as soon as the video into from the tour started, I was geeking out SO badly and I've been on SUCH a Celine high this whole weekend.

This is kind of random-ish but did anyone have free movie tickets that they used for this? I got a pair of AMC tickets at a Christmas party I went to and I used them for this and movies here are about $11.50 (matinee) so I figured I'd have an additional charge since I've been hearing a ticket to this is $15-$16, but the guy didn't charge me any additional money (though it may have been because he was flirting with me as well? IDK), did this happen to anyone else?

No mine were 15 dollars a piece, the theater site clearly had them listed as 16 under the movie times though. They also changed the price for the 'special' events as well. Now it says instead of 15 dollars

Saw the film yesterday and loved it. I really enjoyed the backstage documentries on the AND dvd but this was so much better. You really get to understand how hard Celine works on her career and how she is really determined never to dissapoint her fans. You don't even have to be a fan to enjoy the film, the three people I went with all enjoyed it too. I've really had my appetite wet for the full concert dvd now, can't wait till April/May.

My first concert was to Milan ... I'm Sicilian and I had to take the plane, then between the cost of concert ticket of the plane and that I spent a lot of money ... my boyfriend accompained me ! we arrived in Milan in morning and then we went to see the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and then my boyfriend insisted that I saw La Scala in Milan, so we set out toward that goal .... get to the Scala We did the pictures .... I was wearing a simple shirt with a pin with the face of Celine ... my boyfriend and I have noticed 3 guys (2 boys and 1 girl) with the videocamera that captured this scale and we were qundo to leave the girl stopped me and started talking to me in English ... I did not understand very well everything she said to me, the only thing I knew is that he had seen my pin Celine and she asked me if I went to the concert... I said yes ... when that girl was put down and told me to be part of the crew that takes care of turning the DVD of TAKING CHANCES WORLD TOUR!! I could not believe I was shocked! Then I asked if he could give me a small interview for the Italian stage and I of course I accetato.La first part of the interview I did it in front of the stairs, then I took over as I walked in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and then the last part of the interview was in front of the cathedral! after everything he wanted to see places that we, me and my boyfriend, while at the concert ... I have done this ftto sign the authorization when submitting images just turn on the DVD ... then we said goodbye ... I was too excited! I could not believe it had happened to me ... I was in the right place at the right time! the evening I and my boyfriend were inside the Datch Forum until the concert began, and around 20e30 returned the 3 guys telling me to get off because they should just do one small interview ere dl concert ..... we hung the steps in T-shirts and told us to wait a bit, because we had to wait cameram .... at one point told me to follow them .... open up a black curtain e. ......... ...... I see so many flashes, I see people ..... and soon after I realize I have before me Celine Dion !!!!! I not understand anything, I start crying, I which would end only after the entire concert I was breathing with difficulty .... .... wept and almost wanted to escape before the dream that after 11 years I was finally about to realize .... I do not deny that in those moments nn absolutely understand what happens to you ... for me it was like seeing someone else in my place, it was as if I saw someone in my position make that dream .... in those moments the mind comes out of your body ... you can just feel your breathing in breathing and his heart seems to break out ... when Dion became aware of me gave me a hand .... I took my hand and I I bowed and she pulls me almost embarrassed about the kiss ... and strangely I could tell you what I think of her for 11 years ... I am so happy for you! ^_^ And it is true that you have to be at the right time and place. My second and last time in Vegas I was in row 6 with my friend and we saw two free seats on the second row, just in front of us. We were checking all the time if someone was coming there and when the lights were turned off, we jumped to those seats! And from there it was easier for me to throw her a bracelet with the Spanish flag and she came down to give me THE ROSE :in_love: My friend was so nervous and everything was so fast she couldn't take a picture but I will always remember that and she smelled so good! haha Anyway, what I want to say is that maybe if those two seats weren't free it would never happened to me and I am so glad two people couldn't make it that night :rolleyes:

just a heads up to everyone...the theater i've been going to has mini posters they're giving away...they're 17inches by 11 1/2
they had them at the customer service counter:)

I saw this this afternoon. It was fabulous! I knew I would enjoy it, but it was even better than I thought it would be. Celine always looks so beautiful. I really enjoyed getting to see her perform parts of various songs all around the world during her tour (I just loved all of her costumes for this tour). All of the behind the scene stuff with her family was wonderful as well. My friend who came with me loved the movie so much she wanted to get herself a new Celine cd and we went to the music store on the way to dinner and got her a copy of My Love.

Also, I had a bit of a dorky moment and had to take a picture of the movie poster outside the theater!

About the 'mini' posters, are they handed out when you buy your ticket or are they in the theatres themselves? Which USA theatres were doing it? AMC, Marcus, etc...

Not sure if you meant to link to Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra, but I do know that she sang the song in the 80's, I meant to hear it live in Vegas (or playback if you will )

But I loved the movie! It really was like going on tour with her! I thought it was really great!

Going again for round 2 tonight! I saw the TC Tour one year ago today; might as well celebrate by seeing the movie again! :clap:

wow Darren you are so cool, how have you managed to meet her? I wish I could. I have so many questions I would ask. Do you think she'd get mad if I tweeted her, or just ignore me? Does she know people think she looks like Celine? Does Celine think so? What did you talk about with her? It sounds from her tweet that she likes Celine a lot as a person, she says she is just as nice in person, but I would so like to know more.

She and her collegue have met Celine during the UK leg of the tour, and basically they are part of a group of contacts that I have there....

We joked that she looks a bit like Celine, and yeah she really respects Celine

I don't think she'd appreciate being questioned though.

Its a shame if she doesn't like being questioned, we don't mean any harm, and thats not really very nice. If she is publicity, I guess she is the one who sets up all the interviews and performances on television shows, radio shows and magazines. That must have been fun. I'd love to know what Celine was like backstage at the tv shows. Would she mind if you asked her Darren, or does she not want anyone at all to question her? Is there anyone else from Sony we can follow on twitter or talk to?
