Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World

I sent an E-mail to Sony Pictures Germany, but the woman I sent it to will be out the next week... And they don't have the movie listed on their website. So I guess the movie won't be shown in European cinemas.

 

I wrote an e-mail about tweek ago and no1 replied...

I think they do not have a clue at all whether the movie is going to be aired in continental europe at all....

 

Unfortunately, they are still waiting to see how the movie does in the US & Canada. So they're not committing to anything at the moment..

 

I have a feeling that is why we also still haven't heard anything from Sony SA yet. Everytime we call them they say it still has not been decided. Maybe we will get some new information next week...

 

 

Is the movie still showing?

In the USA there are three more screenings: Thursday at 7:30PM, and Saturday and Sunday at 2PM. The final showing in the USA will be Sunday Feb 28th at 2PM.

^^Several, they showed Dublin more than once, China several times, Mexico...lots of them. I can't remember all of them.

I was a bit pissed to that we never seen her filmed in london... more so what she did in her days off, like doing tourist things with rene and rc,.... and I also would have loved to have seen her before/after the show in dublin, as dublin means such much to her..... but maybe we'll see more of this tour on the rumoured 3 hr dvd.

Yeah, and it was the first time she and rene kissed, and she said in dublin at the concert, that it mean't alot to her and it was her lucky charm...

I really dont think there will be any other footage of her in Dublin, she was only there for one night, flew in, stayed at the Shelbourne the night before the gig and then left after. RC and her mom stayed with the main crew in Europe, so it was only Celine and Rene. I think (and forgive me if i'm incorrect as i can't quite remember) that they flew straight to the Netherlands after her performance to get ready for the shows there. The main crew were already in Holland to fit the 'in the round' stage. In Dublin we had the end on stage which was fab, but logisticly it wouldn't have been possible for Celine to have spent any extra time in Dublin.

 

 

P.s Only one more sleep until we get to see the movie here in Belfast!!!! i soo can't wait until tomorrow!

It was a quick stop yeah, but what did she do that night in dublin... have dinner, go out for a drive round dublin, or the morning/afternoon before croke park... ( I'm just curious, lol )

She must have done something though...... and yeah RC and her mum were there, as they passed me twice. before the show and passed me again when they were leaving during RDMH.

Also a bit surprised there wasn't more London footage Darren. Ok Manchester was focused on because the tour resumed there after a break but I thought we would've seen Celine sightseeing in London. Like you say, perhaps on the DVD.

yea its so weird. its the same thing in canada. except its 1pm instead of 2pm. it's like they're trying their best to keep the movie as hidden away from the public as possible.

Watching her fans talk to Celine, in fact, is akin to watching film of the late Princess Diana being welcomed. She is every bit as adored, every bit as kind, every bit as iconic.

 

So...just saw it again tonight and it was honestly the most entertaining group of people ever! This group of seven ladies came in and they were SO excited to see it (thinking they had just left the bar) and they joined my group because we were laughing at them.

 

During the movie we were all singing and dancing around the theatre and there was a woman who had her tour shirt on in the front who joined in during LCMM. So fun!

 

The theatre employee that stopped in during the middle of the movie just stared at us and walked out.

Which theater was this? I hope there's gonna be more crazy fans there this weekend.

I think it may be up to the theaters ... some theaters in my area are also showing a 7:30pm show on Saturday, but most are on the above schedule

 

I'm going Saturday and may go Sunday too ... just to round it out to 5 I have passes I could use.

I wrote to the Sony Pictures generic email and they replied saying they could sell me a print of the movie, they only ask for 250 tickets sold for one showing to sell me the copy. So I told them ok, but now they're taking forever to answer me. Does anyone have a decent contact at Sony Pictures , either US or international who can direct me with the right people who can sell this print to the movie theatre chains in Mexico?

It was the AMC in Columbia, MD. It was definitely a blast, hopefully people continue to have fun with it!

i dunno if i was in the movie theatre watching that film and people in front of me started singing out loud to disturb the experince of Celine's singing i wouldn't appreciate that. because i want the full Celine experience and at $17 a pop i would be miffed.

i know this is 100% wishful thinking, but i would love sony to release a soundtrack to this movie, some of the prolonged instumental tracks had me alsmost weeping, they were so beautiful, esp when the prayer instrumental was played over a certain part (not wanting to give anything away) it was just so amazing. this movie just added one more reason to the long list of things that make me love Celine.
