riobeard11 Posted February 26, 2010 at 04:26 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 04:26 AM i dunno if i was in the movie theatre watching that film and people in front of me started singing out loud to disturb the experince of Celine's singing i wouldn't appreciate that. because i want the full Celine experience and at $17 a pop i would be miffed. Well, we (being everyone in the theatre) were all dancing. Everyone had seen it already at least once, so we had a good time with it. No harm in that. Quote
tim123 Posted February 26, 2010 at 04:37 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 04:37 AM I took my Mom this evening to see movie for her birthday - LOVED it. My second time seeing it --- WONDERFUL! Quote
QueenCeline Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:01 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:01 AM I saw it again tonight. I was the ONLY one in the theater, and it was 10000 times better that way!! I had a blast I also took, or "stole" a Celine sticker and a few of the posters. I am going back tomorrow for more posters to hopefully send to some of you guys who cannot get them... we'll see how it goes!!! Here's what I got tonight: The story behind the Celine sign is: I was walking out of the theater, and I was looking around to hopefully see the big Celine poster that I saw last week, and see if it was steal-able. I then looked to my right, and my eyes were still adjusting and all I saw was in big letters CELINE, so I grabbed the sheet off the counter and stuffed it into my coat. I got to my car and looked at it, and to my surprise I also accidentally stole another same size sticker for the movie "Attack of the Eraser". Screw that one, but now I got something that I don't think anyone has yet I'm sooooo happy!!! GREAT NIGHT!!! Quote Marc~~~~~~~~Taking Chances World TourSeptember 29, 2008December 16, 2008
LVCeline Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:11 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:11 AM Just saw the movie again, couldn't resist! It's just as fabulous the second go around! It's like a perma-grin for 2 hours straight, I love her so much! What a woman! I can't wait for the tour DVD, we've really had to wait a long time! Quote
stone Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:12 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:12 AM I love how we say there's not enough promo which is why the seats are empty, but we're stealing the promo posters! lol I did too =p Quote
VintageCeline Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:55 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 05:55 AM We saw the movie 5 times all together, it was so good. It was nice to see her face so big on the screen! Even though we knew which parts were coming up every time, it was still amazing! Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/94198518f8a09aef1d336d6fde8fc8b3/tumblr_mkdcezs36X1r7lwiso1_400.jpg
lyn Posted February 26, 2010 at 06:28 AM Posted February 26, 2010 at 06:28 AM (edited) ahhh, good show, good show. Though it was a front row seat to her life -- it made me feel even more a stranger than all my years of fanship.. cos it's as if I've had this fan's perspective of her but really, there's this whole person we really don't know~ like the two shows i saw were infinitessimal specks in the whole tour, in her career, in the phenomenon that is celine..~ -brood- Edited February 26, 2010 at 06:31 AM by lyn Quote Philadelphia, PA, Sept 5 2008.New York, NY, Sept 16 2008, Madison-Freaking-Square Garden.

Céline's Blues Posted February 27, 2010 at 12:40 AM Posted February 27, 2010 at 12:40 AM I just saw her performance of ABM from the movie - you can see she is the fighter, but nothing excuses the notorious nasality in her voice at the beginning. Her nuances didn’t change and I saw many similarities between this and other performances of this song in the 90’s. Loved the raspiness in her voice at the end, one of the better performances for sure as far as the ending is concerned. I still think they tinkered with the main money note, tho - as soon as the technician let go off the button her voice instantly miraculously became shaky. I still enjoyed it cuzz it was a honest performance, she almost got me. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

The theater was full. I cant wait for the whole show, and its definetly gonna sound better loud in my living room, the sound was terrible at the teather I went. iloveceline22 Posted February 27, 2010 at 08:00 AM Posted February 27, 2010 at 08:00 AM Heyyy!Check out page 81, in the same topic ( you'll see pictures!) lollwell, i didnt talk to them alot, cuz it was kinda awkward, although they were super nice and sweet! i overheard them (i know i shouldn't have, but i couldn't help myself) talking about, how they had no idea that it was going to be made into a movie, and how excited they were to be a part of it. I'm not quite sure, how it all went down, cuz i heard bits and pieces, but the dancer from Australia mentioned how he invited so many family and friends to his concert, and someone told them had he had to pay for all their tickets, and he freaked out!, but then he talked to rene and the crew, and said it was all covered! he said it was such a relief! they were sooo cool! and they would laugh and shout when they were on the screen! I was so exciteddd to be in the theater with them, and have that special experience. I saw it in Los Angeles. It was great! Just saw it for the 3rd time. I'm still loving it! Tonight was the second time for me and I found it just as enjoyable as the first time! Maybe I'll go again on Thursday and bring a friend.
