As ever, Quebec-made francophone films dominated the domestic box office, taking six of the top 10 positions dollar-wise – seven if one includes the Celine Dion documentary Celine: Through the Eyes of the World, which grossed 82 per cent of its $1.04-million box office in Quebec.

I have not had a lot of time.... but now i'm out of school. I made this frame for my Celine poster and it even lights up. It was verrrry costly but well worth it. Today is a rainy day here in Kansas so I have my poster plugged in for light!!!! HA HA!

I'm way too late to relate my TTEOFW experience, but wow did I have one. I was not a member here at the time of its theater release, but that's not gonna stop me from telling about it.LOL

I went the last two days of its short two-week run. The local theater in El Cerrito wasn't showing it so i had to go to San Francisco and emeryville, both about a half hour away. It was a disaster to get to both venues. I took a bus to the one in emeryville and they got me lost, then an employee got me lost, but I finally made it.

The one in san Francisco was a nightmare to get to also. I had to take the train, and thinking they ran more often than they did, i'm lucky to have caught the train I did. i was racing up those stairs as fast as a clutzy white-cane carrying blind girl could go. The song, I drove all night, took on a parity for me as it then became, I ran 6 flights to get to you. is that all right?"

Once i got there, I couldn't find an employee so a guy from the train who'd walked me all the way there helped me buy tickets but the machine charged me for quite a few. Thankfully the money was refunded...had to make sure that was taken care of before the movie so my mind would have Nothing else to think about but her...

The first showing was very empty. The second time I went, there were people clapping like they were at an actual concert. There was a woman behind me who described very little of it, but I am thankful for her.

I cried at both times seeing it and it was amazing.

Then, when it came out...boy that's another story.

My two friends and I got together to see it. One had been at my house singing with me when the other called us. we hopped a cab, after my friend who had been at my house raced back from the restaurant she'd gone to, and off we went. But once at the house, the two of them did nothing but complain and dyss her the whole time. I was pissed. But boy did I cry at the stuff I'd never seen before, like the song with that Japanese lady.

I've since seen it many times alone and every time it gets better and I see something I'd missed before. I'lll always have favorite highlight moments, I love it!!!!
