Here are my thoughts about the movie,
obviously there will be some SPOILERS I don't like to use that Special Spoiler Item. So stop reading me if you don't want to get spoiled

7. The italien girl fan part was grrrreat!!! I hope that part wasn't fake! If that was rehearsed Celine and the italian Girl are truly great actresses, but i doubt. (i say that because i think thats everyone's dream to meet celine this way and make it so unique like this, it was awesome)

No it wasn't rehearsed pyb . Couldn't you tell? To me it was obvious it couldn't have been and I think those kind of reactions by some fans are pretty frequent when meeting Céline. Of course, this meeting was special as it was unique and funny cuz of both personnalities and spontaneous reactions. Don't you know already Pyb that this Italian girl is a member on this forum? I think she has already posted some comments on this topic. Being from Italy, I think she said she didn't get the opportunity to watch the movie yet though. I'm so happy for her, she'll be able to keep for ever a very special souvenir of their meeting on tape.

is important for me to point out that my meeting with Celine was not organized, I did not know if I would see Celine and I think this has been understood by my reaction. regarding the song that I and celine sang that this song is one of the most popular songs here in Italy ... this song is titled "The Italian" and is sung by Toto Cutugno.this singer in the 80s did concerts in Canada and Celine took part in one night on a show like this singer and is also why celine knows the refrain of this sing. I hope you will believe that my meeting with Celine is true ... all that has happened between us is the result of our spontaneity and the deep love I feel for celine.Io I hope that you have understood my words ... sorry for my terrible English.

Not the typical shy fan (wich is not a bad thing) but it was refreshing to see you, a fan who could speek up and tell her what you really wanted to tell her!!! You know what i mean!!! it's so funny that millions of people have seen your movie debut before you yourself even saw it. And they showed you for a very long time, the longest of all the fans maybe around 5 minutes so the producers and editors must really think you added something to the film. i like the part when u called Celine mon amour and she was a bit shocked because you weren't her lover :laugh:

The whole audience in my theatre absolutley loved every minute of it and were so glad that they came. Mind you, as the whole audience consisted of me and my coat, that's not too surprising.

Yeah, I was completley alone in the, not too small, cinema for the show. Except for a staff member who watched a few minutes of it mid-move.

Between women of course(girlfriends) or from an adult to a child, but never between men(straight men I mean). Isn't it used the same way in english when you call someone "my love"? Anyway I guess it's because they were meeting for the first time and she said it in french...but I'm sure Céline thought it was very charming.

Great movie! Favorite moment was when Celine and Rene are in their car and finally arrive home and Rene is sleeping... Celine singing "My love we are finally home, time to unbuckle and get out of the car" to wake him up. Good stuff! Only 6 people in the theater though... almost like a prive viewing hehe

I LOVED this part!!!

The theater we were in last night was pretty large... but only 28 people. And I was the youngest by far.
Can you describe Celine's reactions during the movie premiere? I want to know all the little things that happened inside the theater.

I am just seeing this now!! I've been sick - too much excitement I guess!

Basically, whenever the fans laughed, we were cracking up at the same time Celine and her family were! So if you were laughing, Celine was too She laughed a LOT! She made a comment during the lion scene where she gives Rene the lion but I can't remember what it was. Every time I turned around, she was watching it really intently.

Saw the movie for a 3rd time today. I might go again next weekend, everyone I go with insists on paying for me, I can't give Celine my $15 :giggle:

Lol Koolan, i love that part too, made me laugh a lot, but more because its trully a quebec expression : Hippelaille ! LOL its like an onomatopoeia (am i right Lou?) it doesnt mean anything other than that she's suprised and that could have hurt her. Like Oh God!

it may be the name of the tour but not the name of the film. i'm sure when the dvd will come out it will reflect the name of the concert.

i didnt get hooked up on what songs were in or what songs were out or what was playback and what wasn't, i was too engrossed in the film. i loved the piano version of All the Way. :wub:

yea but the name of the tour is irrelevant. the focus is on the adventures of Celine, the words 'taking chances' are not even in the title of the film. and i certainly didnt miss the song. i mean you did know it wasnt a concert you were going to see right. you knew it was a documentary type film. i wasnt expecting every song to be included and the fact that some songs were completely played i was a bit surprised like PQTME

Of course no way the three hour original for the DVD would have made it for the big screen. I think that's why René ask S. Laporte to make it a two hour thing for the movie. But I wonder if it was 1:57 at the very first screenings last year. Let's hope Ashley's friend remembers it.
