Its embarrassing! I would have had them just put the full concert up in HD. But maybe people don't watch the whole thing, I dunno. Then yeah after that maybe some remixes as was mentioned or Celine does a live from home---possibly piano and voice---versions from the album right now and puts them online. Some of the lesser known songs. Quote

I'm surprised people still own dvd players with all the streaming platforms out there First : everything on the streaming platform is not there for the rest of your life. Its always changing. Things gets removed to add new ones. Second : where is Celine on the virtual world? Like on itunes you can digitally buy Celine une seule fois, through the eyes and taking chances boston show. Where is Au coeur du stade? Memphis? A new day? Colour of my love? Sur les plaines? A big thanks to my dvd/bluray player! 4 Quote

And you're right! I just mean, of the things I think they would actually do i.e. release Memphis stuff, they should upload the whole concert in one. But they could do a lot more. Chantemoi Posted March 6, 2021 at 12:33 AM Posted March 6, 2021 at 12:33 AM (edited) Since they posted that, we know they have the footage! I’m think they have footage of every show since AT LEAST the Falling Into You era. I haven’t read her authorized biography in, like, 20 years, but I’m pretty sure this was mentioned as a fact. If it was too expensive to do anything with the footage, then someone please explain WHY they would be recording in the first place? (See: Paris & London 2017, Vegas 2019, when they actually used extra cameras and ugly crane shots). Maybe Aldo was the man with the plan... I just wish they’d see the importance these concerts have for the fans. (And for the record, I absolutely loathe Live in Memphis —haven’t seen it in like 15 years— but I would cherish the f*** out of a European stadium show from that tour.) Maybe Rene had a grand plan for her to retire at like 60 or 65 and release a huge compilation I would die to see some of the earlier shows, probably even moreso than the FIY/LTAL stuff....since we kinda already got a picture of how those shows went. I feel in Celine's earlier days, like 85-94, she was more willing to surprise you vocally and make interesting choices with her voice that changed from show to show. Why do you loathe Live In Memphis? Edited March 6, 2021 at 12:47 AM by PuraVida Quote

Céline RO Posted March 6, 2021 at 09:32 PM Posted March 6, 2021 at 09:32 PM Maybe Rene had a grand plan for her to retire at like 60 or 65 and release a huge compilation I remember Céline saying once that René never sees her retiring. That if it were up to him, she would keep going strong forever, he didn’t think of aging and had ambitious plans for decades to come. She said that it was her who had to remind him that she’s human and won’t be able to be a top performer forever. They even joked about RC becoming Céline’s manager when he’s older. I wish they would upload the entire concert including the live performance of River Deep, Mountain High. Quote
marc-02 Posted March 7, 2021 at 05:41 AM Posted March 7, 2021 at 05:41 AM Everybody's doing virtual concerts now. I wonder why Celine's team isn't doing the same. While waiting for the Courage tour to resume, why not do mini concerts at home, she has her own studio afterall. An unplugged or acoustic concert maybe? She's repeatedly talked about wanting to do one. Now's the perfect time. She can do a virtual concert and host virtual meet and greets for VIP ticket holders. And sell merchandise there as well. That's pretty much the new norm. Quote
