I keep saying it : its sooo boring to be a Celine Dion fan these days!

 

Everything is gonna stay in the vault. Its gonna be only very expensive greatest hits shows and maybe a new album every 5-6 years 😴

Sadly (or not), I see uploading a Live in Memphis full in HD as a major achievement. I guess my expectations have been lowered

I would be thrilled if they uploaded the entire Live In Memphis concert to her YouTube channel. There's still a lot of people out there who haven't seen that concert -- so this step would introduce more people to it. It would also remind old-school casual Celine fans how fabulous she is. And the higher quality would be a huge treat for us hardcore fans.

 

Fingers crossed they give us some extra special treats for this 25th anniversary.

 

Also... I have a question. Is it true that To Love You More was recorded during the Colour of My Love sessions? If so, why wasn't it included on the US release of Falling Into You? It would have made the album that much more epic. Regardless, I know the song existed prior to the release of FIY. I've never understood why it wasn't included on that album here in the US.

I don't think it's scam. It looks more like a typical sleepy Sony guy responsible for the artist Celine who just woke up and realized that there is a major anniversary that he didn't think of because he couldn't care less, and now he needs fan testimonies asap for a mediocre facebook post, because his boss said it would be appropriate to point to the anniversary. It might very well prompt Sony to concider a special re-release of FIY and including the Spector Songs, since now they have the chance to buy them. When Spector was alive, they wouldn't do it because of their conflict. Now things look much different. This could be a huge successfull thing if executed and promoted properly. I think they are definitely planning something. They have just changed Céline's Spotify banner with the "Falling Into You 25th anniversary" as well and have changed her "Celine Dion Top Tracks" playlist into a FIY special one!
