But yeah, they could release a double album some day.

 

Or there was a time when they used to release something called "CD Single" and offer rejected songs from the recording sessions as something called once on vinyl singles the "b-sides"

 

Okay 2018, now it's called "iTunes bonus tracks" and such, but still... with Céline it's always the same: NADA

Hmmm interesting. To me it immediately sounded as a line in the duet she did with Gloria on the 1999 CBS Special for her song "Here We Are"

I assumed as much after looking at them, but thanks for confirming it for me.

 

I wonder how those tracks are mixed, If the sound quality is different from the DVD. Typically CD's have a clearer sound. (I've made a "DVD CD" of all the DVD's with improved sound quality for my iTunes.)

As far as I know, only tracks 2 & 3 are live.

I thought like you about the quality but I was very disappointed : the sound has been taken from the video track with no particuliar mixing (on the beginning of track 1 you even have the voice of the host that goes "Ladies and gentlemen...Céline Diooooooooooooon" !!!!

I don't know, that's I'm trying to figure out. You're probably right, and thanks for the help! I recently bought that single on eBay, and I actually received it today. So far I don't recognize this live version from any of her CD's or DVD, even the rare ones, which made me happy. It's kind of annoying that it doesn't say where it's from though. It's only listed on some singles where the live versions are taken from, so usually I have to dig around online to find the information I'm looking for.

 

Recently I've been trying to collect every live performance (and other rarities) that isn't on an album or included in any dvd sets. Do you (or anyone) know which other singles have live versions of songs that isn't extracted from any of her albums or dvd's? That's what I'm looking for these days.

You can find a different live take of Because you Loved Me from the early australian FIY shows on an aussie All by Myself CD, a live version from Montreal's shwo of LTAL tour of Treat Her like a Lady (even if it was lipsynch) on a THLAL promo CD.. What else ? There's a Delivre Moi live version on the canadian BATB maxi single but I never came to find it !

So I received the single I bought from eBay today, and I've never heard this particular live version of Because You Loved Me before. Getting a live performance in good quality from the 90's is just amazing! I'm so happy and thank you for helping me find this!

It sounds a little bit more intimate, but otherwise normal. Like she's singing for 150 people, and not 20.000, and it's 1996, so she sounds amazing.
