"Falling Into You" album - Official Topic

I'm also bummed that her team isn't celebrating these massive anniversaries. It's a big shame.

But I also have the feeling that's because of Celine. I think she isn't a person to look back on what she did, but she's more focused on what's ahead.

They have just posted this which is so classy...exactly alike Celine is:

LOL - Her team finally got around to retweeting Legacy's tweet. I have no words. Yesterday should have really been a huge celebration of the song: An in-depth post to her website, interviews with Celine and/or Diane Warren, possibly getting comments from Robert Redford and Michelle Pheiffer how they feel about the song and how it tied into their movie ("Up Close & Personal") and even releasing the unreleased Chris Cox remix to iTunes as a digital single. Sadly, no. All we got was a dang retweet. Maybe they've got something MAJOR in the works that will take five years to put together for the 25th anniversary. Yeah. That's it. :giggle:

And before some on here get bent out of shape about how heartless I am because her team is still dealing with their grief regarding the loss of Rene, that doesn't wash: A) If they can all get back to work and Celine can even get back on stage to perform, they can put things together for major milestones, and B ) people not even immediately connected to Rene could have put something together that wouldn't have affected any potential grief-stricken hearts.

It took a day, but they heard you ;)

This was just posted on her Facebook:

20 years ago this week, “Because You Loved Me” was #1 on the Billboard 100.

It remains an all-time favorite among Celine’s fans; is it one of yours? #‎TBT

Comes with a video of highlights from the second European leg of her FIY-tour:

I guess they were just waiting to use #TBT? Or they couldn't find the video yesterday...

We should complain more often... oh wait we do! :giggle:

OMFG think of all the footage they have! They have every concert filmed! I wish they released a bluray with LIM and a CTTEOTW kinda documentary as a bonus showing backstage moments and songs from all over the world, including a full IACBTMN and FIY and Fly :wub2:

What a shame that we don't have the full concert of one of those stadiums...I mean, this is EPIC, she was at the top of her career and they filmed what.... the MEMPHIS concert....ALDO if you read us, please, do something with all the old material that you have !

A DVD of one of the Stadium shows would be just gold... Can you imagine such a huge audience reacting to the big note of All By Myself? :w00t: Edited by Celine Fan 77

So bittersweet to see the old band, I really do miss them and the chemistry they had with Céline  I know the new band will make that connection with her eventually, but I really miss Mego, Andre, and Marc

Gosh, if Sony/Feeling only knew the gold mine they were sitting on. I would love a CTTEOTW-style documentary (like someone mentioned above) for the FIY tour, of course it wouldn't be as detailed since they didn't have cameras rolling every minute, but it would be really fun to see some of the highlights from the tour: bloopers, funny moments, emotional moments, etc.

I guess we can hold out hope that maybe they'll release LIM on DVD on the anniversary of the concert (March 14-15, 1997). One year to go guys! (I'm not holding my breath...)

They have SO much footage.... That's for sure... but... maybe they're thinking of releasing a dvd then? why would they bring back so random moments from different stadiums only for this one short video... :hmm:

I think it's an actual promotional video from 1997, it also says so at the end. The editing is also very 90's :giggle: We should start a campaign: #20YRSFIYWTDVD2017

I've got the vcd of Memphis. So I'd definitely prefer a new version of the tour to be released. Yes the white outfit! Lot nicer than the gold one.

So good to see the footage from the FIY tour and to see clips from Amsterdam! It was my first Celine concert and it was very very good. Wish she would do IACBTMN in full again. The song has lost it's magic as it is being performed now.

I never knew she played Wembley Stadium then! I always thought it was the 98/99 tour lol. In my head it was Wembley Arena and Earls Court for FIY 😁 I learn something knew every day! Shame they don't have footage - London overlooked again 😕😁

That Live in London was some of her greatest performances ever. Her Think Twice...my GOD. Incredible. It makes me weep.

Wow! Adele and Whitney Houston are the only females ahead of her! (And Mariah Carey has less than half the streams... I like MC but I LOVE it when Céline beats her :giggle: ) and though I'm a die-hard Céline fan to the end, I'm definitely ok with Whitney being ahead of Céline- she earned those spots. Not to get started on the whole Adele topic again :innocent: ... but it makes sense that she would be so much farther ahead due to the fact that she started her career around the same time that music streaming really took off (21 was released in 2011, the same year Spotify was released in the US).

I think this list really goes to show you that Céline's music is timeless... That's a heck of an impressive list!

Yes, it's not a real album, it's a soundtrack with various artists.
