"Falling Into You" album - Official Topic

I’ve been listening to this album all month long in celebration of the 25th year it’s truly a masterpiece.

 

It’s a shame that it hit its 25th anniversary during Covid, otherwise how epic would have been to see Celine do a medley of songs off of this album and an award show like the Grammys tonight Since FIY won album of the year.

 

Imagine a medley of BYLM, IACBTMN, ABM and a rarity like Dreamin of You, Call the Man, or If That’s What it Takes.

do you really believe that she would pay tribute to her own album on the Grammys? LOL If Aldo was still her manager, he would certainly push for a very big celebration. But with Celine being her own boss, nothing will happen. Sorry to be this staight forward, but I realized that any hope for something only results in dissappointment when it comes to Celines career nowadays. I know a lot of forum members here are out of the loop because they are not a member of the Celine / Phil Spector Facebook group.

I hope a lot of people inquire / reach out in the DMs about this here on the Forum, because we need as much support as we can get in order to raise the money quickly and purchase the recordings.

True, but the difference is Celine still is very relevant in her career and it's one of the best selling albums of all time, which you cannot say of others. Very few albums have as many Top 5 hits, from what I know

Okay i get that..but she also released Ashes which has clips from Deadpool 2, she released TYLAM which has clips from the movie. I don't get it.

Me too! All they've uploaded so far is only the HD version of ''Falling Into You'' MV, the live performance of ''Declaration Of Love'' from the Live In Memphis 1997 concert and the live performance of ''Because You Loved Me'' from the These Are Special Times 1998 TV Special.

 

I hope they will upload the entire concert or at least these 8 performances from it :

TLYM is full on Live in Memphis as well as the official music video in the U.S.

No, the original album version (5'30) was only performed at the very beginning of the tour. Then, it was replaced by a shorter version with a shortened ending (5'00). That is the version she did also on the LTAL Tour.

In Vegas 2003/2007 and TCWT, that was a very shorthened version with no 2nd verse and shortened ending, and when the song came back in 2018 that was another kind of version with the 2nd verse that was back but the song has no more instrumental bridge and the same quick ending.

Again, different studios have different contracts. People are also talking about contracts for movies 20-30 years ago vs Deadpool 2 which was recent. A different contract (now that videos being posted online are a thing) could’ve included that. The entertainment industry isn’t a one contract-fits-all business.

Alright, Then You Look At Me was also 20 years old, Sleepless In Seattle is 30 years old,they somehow managed to release them. Its not about contract we are talking about, it is that THE MAJOR HITS of Céline that made her popular is not in her channel.
