I dont think it's not allowed, it's just customary since it's a big show and most artists want a 'perfect' image of themselves for this large of an audience.

Reviews on the "Today" show said she was over produced and wasn't very soulfull! I thought it was great but I would rather have seen Celine do halftime!

Piers Morgan bashes Madonna’s Super Bowl act

Piers Morgan has never shied away from telling people how he really feels about Madonna, right down to her “grotesque” arms. So it comes as no surprise that when the topic of her Super Bowl halftime performance came up on his show last night, he had some not-so-kind words to say about the singer. “I know you’re a huge fan,” he told his guest Chelsea Handler. “That Super Bowl performance, it was like watching your mad drunken aunt at Christmas. Is it just me? I keep reading all these celebrities tweeting, saying, ‘Wasn’t she awesome?’ No, she wasn’t. She was gruesome.” Not only was she gruesome, but he also criticized her for appearing to lip sync through the entire performance. “I don’t like the woman and she doesn’t like me, but at least I’ve found I have got one common ground with Madonna,” said Morgan. “Neither of us have sung live at the Super Bowl.”

 

Madonna hasn’t yet responded to Morgan’s harsh words but she’s probably got more important things to worry about, like prepping for her upcoming world tour this spring with expected stops through Europe, the Middle East, Australia, South America, and finally North America in the fall.

MDNA tickets for KC go on sale soon. I almost got VIP til I saw it between $500-$1500 but hell no. I won't pay $350 either, I'll be happy in the 1st or 2nd bowl thank you

To me this song sounds pretty cheap, now I haven't heard the whole album yet but I don't think this kind of direction is the direction I would like to see Celine going to! I hope celine will really surprise us and not use lame lyrics like this song. Not saying the song is worst of the worst, but it sounds so easy, soo cheap...

That's disappointing to hear. Start scraping your money? No you are not worth $355 Madonna, but I will still try to see you because I've never have before. But after this I doubt I'll be willing to see you again at these prices

I fecking hate online ticket sales!! The websites always get errors. And I was in a waiting line, waited for 5 minutes and then got send back to the main page, cos too many people were in the waiting line!! WTF!!

 

A second concert will go on sale next week for the 8th of July... but the tickets for the first ring and even the second ring are way too expensive for me.

Madonna says M.I.A.'s bird flip was "teenager, irrelevant thing to do"

 

It was the bird flip that ricocheted around the world!

 

Now Madonna has commented on M.I.A. giving the finger to America during last week's Super Bowl half time show.

 

The rapper was performing with the elder stateswoman of pop when the "digit malfunction" occurred, prompting a barrage of outrage and media coverage. News followed that M.I.A. could be forced to pay any ensuing fines out of her own pocket, due to an indemnity clause. And people are still talking about it almost a week later, which is, like, a year in contemporary pop culture news time.

 

Madge told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that she was unaware of the incident when it happened and that she found out about it while leaving the venue.

 

"I didn't know about it until I left. I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it," she said.

 

"I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity it seemed negative. It's one of the those things, it's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do…there was such a feeling of love and unity there what was the point? It was just out of place."

 

Madge also talked about feeling more nervous about the half time show than any other she's done in her lifetime. Hear the entire interview below.

I just bought my ticket, managed to snatch the last seat in the VIP-gallery. There's no way I'm spending 3-4 hours waiting in the sun for M to show up like in 2009; I want shadow, comfortable seats, aircondition and access to normal toilets

 

 

But I wonder why the tickets are so much cheaper here compared to other places? €45-125 here, in an arena with a capacity of up to 60.000 during concerts I believe. Not that €125 isn't a lot of money, but I thought I'd have to pay more for the seat/area I got (250 or 60.000 after all) after seeing the other european prices

 

I'm not expecting great vocals (live or pre-recorded), but I hope the fan-effing-tastic atmosphere and show is the same (it's on the 4th of July after all, how can an american crew not be a bit extra buzzed considering the date? LOL )

Well, if you need tickets you can always come to Brussels. The Brussels show is open for sale since last week and relatively few tickets have been sold... Thousands of tickets remain unsold and this in all categories, from the cheapest ones (45 EUR excl. fees) to the most expensive ones (300 EUR excl. fees for "hot seats" (actually these are the same seats as the 150 EUR ones but you get a small gift etc...)).

 

When Madonna came for the first time to Belgium back in 2009 her concert was sold in less then an hour. 65.000 tickets were sold in a record time but unfortunately the concert sucked big time... She started way to late, she found it necessary to change costumes quite a few times and played music videos during those times. Only the few first rows where excited while the rest remained calm... And if that wasn't worse enough it started raining... Unfortunately a lot of people had to hand over their umbrella's at the entrance and were very mad when it finally started to rain. Add this to an allready bad show and you have the ideal mix for people to not go to a Madonna show anymore...

 

So this year she comes back to Belgium, only her second time in history, and the organisation had big expectations... She was booked into the King Baudouin stadium with a capacity of about 70.000 people, a stadium that sold out multiple times before when other artists like Céline Dion, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi passed before her... The organisation dreamed probably about a sold out show in no time, maybe dreaming of adding a second show like they did before with U2 & Co... But that something happened that they didn't expect... People weren't running for tickets, actually people were reluctant to buy them... And a week later after opening sales there are still thousands of tickets (exact amount unknown) available in every single categorie... Even the cheapest tickets aren't sold out...

 

So if one wants to see Madonna and likes to travel: Brussels is happy to see you since Belgians aren't happy with Madonna anymore...

I dunno but both new songs are really disappointing to me! No way they are reaching the level of Ray Of Light, Music or even Confessions... I'm starting to believe Madonna really lost that special touch!
