Ray Posted June 3, 2012 at 05:28 PM Posted June 3, 2012 at 05:28 PM Great to see she's doing so many new songs from MDNA and even Celebration and Revolver.Would have loved her to perform Love Spent as well though. Also great to see some golden oldies. I would have prefered to see three more hits instead of older album tracks like Candy Shop, Nobody Knows Me and small hit Human Nature. One can never be fully satisfied, I guess. ;-) Quote Céline Dion Mariah Carey Madonna Lara Fabian Debbie Gibson Wilson Phillips Linda Eder Tina Arena Martika
Alex_Incognito Posted June 3, 2012 at 05:31 PM Posted June 3, 2012 at 05:31 PM I'm THRILLED the MDNA tour has MDNA songs! But I wish it had "Love Spent" on it, too. I can't wait to see her in Paris! Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
Edwin Posted June 3, 2012 at 08:09 PM Posted June 3, 2012 at 08:09 PM Nothing from Ray of Light? Nice set list anyways Still debating spending money on a ticket to MDNA but will probably cave as it gets closer to October and she's in KC. Quote

LOL i was coming here just to say that. I can't believe Love Spent was not included in the set list!!? Are they insane? its the best song on the album!!? At least i'm a sinner is there (the second best) Take off Candy Shop and put Love Spent. Ewww Candy Shop? She opened up her Sticky and Sweet Tour with that horrible song. It was wayyy enough, and now its back Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted June 3, 2012 at 08:23 PM Posted June 3, 2012 at 08:23 PM I, too, am shocked that she added "Candy Shop." That's the biggest WTF in years. Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

She opened up her Sticky and Sweet Tour with that horrible song. It was wayyy enough, and now its back Candy Shop is one of the reasons why I'm disappointed with this setlist in addition that I'm not fond of most of the oldies she picked and that I don't like her latest album. She should perform Material Girl and Burning Up (2 of my fav hits of her from the 80's) instead of Papa Don't Preach and Like A Virgin (I never really liked these 2 songs)... and replace Erotica by Deeper and Deeper (one of my fav) and Human Nature by Secret or Take A Bow (again 2 of my personal fav of her). Oh yeah and she should replace the horrible Revolver by something else like Die Another Day or even American Life and get rid of the "Born This Way" segment. Nice set list anyways Still debating spending money on a ticket to MDNA but will probably cave as it gets closer to October and she's in KC. I am seeing her in Miami in Novermber ... for the very first time! I am glad she is including "I am a sinner" ... one of my favorite songs on MDNA ... I am also hoping she does a show in Puerto Rico and announces a date soon ... With all the hits and misses she has had over the years ... guess she will never make everybody happy with whatever she chooses for the set-lists ... Quote
Edwin Posted June 4, 2012 at 06:29 AM Posted June 4, 2012 at 06:29 AM If I go, it will be my first time as well. That's why I think I'll cave in And yeah no set list will every satisfy EVERYONE. I'm just glad Like A Prayer is still in there since it's one of all time fav Madonna songs. That and The Power of Goodbye but I have no dreams of hearing that in concert Quote
browseceline Posted June 4, 2012 at 09:34 PM Posted June 4, 2012 at 09:34 PM well the setlist is pretty much focused on the MDNA cd. But she could have put some songs like You'll see, take a bow and Rain in the show. The songs from MDNA totally don't attract me. I did not buy the album. Still deciding to go or not to go. I have seen some videos on youtube already and I am not completely impressed. I have seen Madonna twice in concert. The Reinvention Tour and The Sticky and Sweet Tour. Both were amazing. That is why I immediately bought a ticket for this concert. But I did not know the cd would be that awful. So still deciding.. Alex_Incognito Posted June 4, 2012 at 09:42 PM Posted June 4, 2012 at 09:42 PM It look amazing. It looks like her best choreographed tour since Blond Ambition. You're worrying about nothing. She'll never perform all of the songs that you want. How can you judge MDNA without even owning it? Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

And I did not like them..Except Masterpiece and girl gone wild. For me the Confessions Tour was her best tour I have seen. I have that one on dvd, second best is The Reinvention Tour.I do like some tracks though from the setlist, like Nobody knows me, which she also performed in the Reinvention Tour, and Like a prayer of course and respect yourself. But revolver.. the song Nicki Minaj, Give me all your Luvin..nah Edited June 4, 2012 at 10:20 PM by browseceline Quote <iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hl2XkxnYljg" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ray Posted June 5, 2012 at 07:23 PM Posted June 5, 2012 at 07:23 PM I'm glad she's doing Revolver. Always disappointed she didn't do a video for the David Guetta Remix. Not fond of Candy Shop, but I read she's doing a new (better) version of the song.Hope it's true. I refuse to listen to the songs already. I want to be surprised. riobeard11 Posted July 6, 2012 at 02:06 PM Posted July 6, 2012 at 02:06 PM Sooo I'm not really a huge Madonna fan, but my friends have convinced me to go when she comes through DC. Are there enough of the big hits in the show that it will still be fun for me? Or should I start learning the setlist now so I recognize most of them? Quote
