After the mother's day effect but including the ellen promotion+the wedding promotion, Mariah according to hits will sell in her 5th week in Usa 65-70k. I think it is quite good! and despite of selling less she will gain some positions

 

These ''promotions'' has nothing to do with her music. She didn't even talk about her album at Ellen. She needs to perform songs from her album not to do stupid interviews about how she has transformed her body and what not.

That's right Bellamy!celine as well in many shows never talked about the album but just about her son her mother etc etc but it is promotion anyway cause she is on TV and people associate her name to her CD so the same for mariah!

Oh please i can assume that u didnt see many interviews where she just talked about her family. Performing or not it is promotion for everyone. And what about the wedding gig?they always talked about it and her husband as the guy from her new video(showing clip from bye bye). I think that's a very Huge promo!and wanna talk about magazines she is all over the world thanks to the wedding...is that promotion in a way?

Nikson, that crap happened with TEOM here in India... first they didn't have any pictures but after a month, they sold the regular edition... thank god, I was on a cash crunch at the time and didn't buy the album when it first came out.. I bought it later and got 3 posters alongwith it ;w00t:

The album is not horrible. It's her best since Butterfly according to most of the fans opinions. It's for sure better TEOM. It's a whole another story if you don't like it.

even here in the philippines, all Universal Music cds are released in 2 versions. the "Special Philippines (depends on what country the album was released) Edition" and the regular. the price of the special edition is cheaper, since it don't include the lyrics and some photos. My cds of The Dutchess (Fergie) and The Sweet Escape (Gwen Stefani) don't have the lyrics as well.

are you sure that's not just fan hype? I know a lot of mc fans say that a lot of UN-hardcore mc fans claim emancipation was good only cos it was so successful...,but i seriously think at least we belong together is much better/catchier than any song on the new album.

 

anyway i think bye bye's gonna hit top 10 and so is migrate if they release it. but i dont think shell sell more than 2 million US and 4 million worldwide. sales are s*** nowadays

E=MC2 is a very solid album IMHO. though i prefer The Emancipation of Mimi, this album is a banger. my only complaint is her massive use of so-called "gangsta" style for her lyrics. she's 38 and i think she should stop that.
