Her voice is totally shot, has been for years. I think people are finally starting to realise she no longer has the voice she had in the 90s. She has been trying to hide it for years with lipped and dubbed TV performances, but here she is totally exposed...

I wonder if this is a real interview. It sounds almost translated, except that, so far as I know, Mariah only speaks English. But some of the sentence constructions are very odd for direct quotes, and sound like a bad Google Translate. Things like: "Whitney agrees, to her he said I was ready." "Standing before your door" (why the "before"? That's weird). And "Eventually Celine Dion loves to do duets" -- eventually? huh? Why use that word?

I've never seen this before so but if it is real it definitely seems to be translated.

I partly expected her to sing in her ~whisper~ voice that she likes to do but was pleasantly surprised. The media is tearing her to shreds though, apparently if it isn't sung exactly like it was 20 years ago, then it's not good.

Mariah is, as a lot of people already know, going to be on Ellen on Thursday so set your DVR's! She's probably going to announce her dates for the Vegas residency.

 

Speaking of the Vegas residency, a Twitter account released (more like leaked) an official looking thing. I can't tell if it's a paper or what but it says that available show dates are July 8, 11,12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25, and 26.
