I thought "#Beautiful" would garner at least one Grammy nod, but she was snubbed. :(

They ignored one of her best albums (if not THE best) back in her prime (I'm talking about 'Daydream', of course), so no surprise they did not care about '#Beautiful'. They're biased.

From The Official UK Charts page:

Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is… A Million Seller!

Mariah Carey’s festive favourite sees a seasonal sales surge which could tip it over the million copies landmark later this week, nearly twenty years after its release.

She doesn’t want a lot for Christmas, but there is ONE thing that she needs. She doesn’t even care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree, all Mariah Carey wants this Christmas is…a million selling single!

And, if sales continue at their current rate, the record buying British public will make her wish come true later this week.

Originally released in 1994 as the lead single from Mariah’s Christmas album, Merry Christmas, All I Want For Christmas Is You initially entered the Official Singles Chart at Number 5 in December of that year. It climbed up to Number 2 a week later, but was kept off the festive top spot by London boyband East 17’s Stay Another Day. A vintage year for yuletide classics by any measure!

It dropped out of the Top 40 six weeks after release with a respectable UK sales tally of nearly 306,000 copies at that point. However, thanks to the advent of digital and the song’s feel-good singalong factor, All I Want For Christmas Is You returned to the Official Singles Chart some 13 years after its original release (peaking at Number 4) and it has done so over, and over again, every December since 2007.

And the British public STILL can’t get enough of Mariah’s sleighbell-adorned classic. According to the Official Charts Company’s sales data, a further 56,000 copies of All I Want For Christmas Is You have been purchased so far this year alone, the track climbed two places to Number 12 on Sunday’s Official Singles Chart. All I Want For Christmas Is You’s total UK sales now stand at 985,700 copies, and should cross over the million copies landmark this month.

JD announced on Twitter we have to wait four months for the album release.

So it looks they're gonna follow the E=MC² time route: single in February, album in April.

Here is the Lambs Top 50. Starting with the last ten songs:

41. (39) Slipping Away: 85 points

Very popular as it is only a b-side.

42. (24) I Still Believe: 84 points

The remix added a lot of points too.

43. (67) I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time: 82 points

This was the third single from the E=MC² album.

44. (17) Without You: 80 points

Although some of her covers have been huge international hits, her lambs don't seem to love them that much.

45. (35) Forever: 79 points

Taken from the Daydream album it was only a single in a few countries.

46. (41) All I’ve Ever Wanted: 79 points

This Music Box track is one of her most loved album tracks.

47. (37) I Don't Wanna Cry: 76 points

Although this single is in the top 50 every year, it's never high up in the list.

48. (76) It’s Like That: 75 points

The leadsingle of The Emancipation Of Mimi only just reached the top 50.

49. (40) Stay The Night: 73 points

Despite the popularity of the album, this is only one of the few songs in this list of The Emancipation Of Mimi.

50. (46) Through The Rain: 72 points

Probably the only lead single that was a bigger hit in Europe than in the USA.

Out of those i love Slipping Away, I Don't Wanna Cry, and All I've Ever Wanted. All of which are on my ipod.

31. (32) Betcha Gon' Know: 117 points

One of the more popular tracks of the Memoirs album.

32. (47) Subtle Invitation: 116 points

Never before did Subtle Invitation do so well in the five years the Lambs List exists.

33. (21) Outside: 114 points

Almost all songs of the Butterfly album are popular among the fans.

34. (31) Vanishing: 114 points

Obviously the most popular album track of the debut album.

35. (82) Fourth of July: 111 points

Got a lot more love than last year.

36. (42) Don't Forget About Us: 109 points

Despite being a #1 hit, this never gets real high in the Lambs List.

37. (51) For The Record: 103 points

Taken from E=MC² and a well loved album track. The first in this list with over 100 points.

38. (44) Touch My Body: 99 points

The leadsingle of E=MC².

39. (48) Bringin' On The Heartbreak: 91 points

This is the only Charmbracelet song to list in the top 50 every year.

40. (72) Shake It Off: 90 points

Climbing a lot. A favorite of Mariah, but not that popular among the fans.

Let's do it upside down this time:

30. (34) Everything Fades Away: 118 points

Again a few places up for the bonus track of Music Box.

29. (30) Melt Away: 127 points

One place up for this beautiful ballad, which she wrote with Babyface.

28. (22) H.A.T.E.U.: 134 points

After been in the top 10 three years in a row, it slowly starts to drop more and more.

27. (-) Almost Home: 139 points

Almost one year old. New in the top 30. Last year Triumphant (thanks to the remixes) entered at #28 and is nowhere to be seen now. Hope Almost Home will last longer in the lambs minds.

26. (29) Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix) (& Joe): 144 points

Most points were given to the remix. Without it, it wouldn't have been near the top 30...

25. (9) Make It Happen: 156 points

Dropping out of the top 10. Some of the points were given to the live version.

24. (50) Whenever You Call: 160 points

Almost all points were for the solo version.

23. (26) Love Takes Time: 164 points

Her first time working with Walter Afanasieff, her last time with Ben Margulies.

22. (-) The Art Of Letting Go: 167 points

Her latest song just missed out on the top 20.

21. (36) Lead The Way: 172 points

The only Glitter song in this list.

20. (16) Hero: 174 points

Although many will agree that Hero is one of her signature songs, the fans only once voted it into the top 10.

19. (20) Fly Like A Bird: 188 points

This gospel song hits the top 20 every year. Defenitely one of her most loved album tracks.

18. (19) Close My Eyes: 195 points

Thanks to this beloved album track there are no less than six songs of the Butterfly album in the top 20!

17. (15) Emotions: 218 points

Over 20 years old, but still very popular.

16. (23) Heartbreaker (feat. Jay-Z): 219 points

The most popular Rainbow track is back in the top 20!

15. (13) Anytime You Need A Friend: 220 points

Not the biggest hit of Music Box, but defenitely very popular.

14. (18) Dreamlover: 232 points

For the first time Anytime You Need A Friend is not the most popular Music Box track here.

13. (14) Underneath The Stars: 242 points

Like every year Underneath The Stars is in the top 20. Fans love this album track.

12. (12) All I Want For Christmas Is You: 248 points

The only Christmas song in the top 50.

11. (5) Butterfly: 257 points

For the first time out of the top 10.
