Baby´s names are really unique. Monroe is more beautiful but Moroccan is iteresting.

Munroe would haVE been better than Monroe but I like it more compared to the names of Celine's twins. But come on, why would they name the other twin Moroccan? It's not interesting. It's an adjective word that doesn't really sound good for a name of a person. I am betting that Moroccan will be one of or else, the worst name ever given.

Well, Mariah's New York apartment is Moroccan themed and that's where Nick proposed to her. But still, that really is kinda odd to name your child after that. Maybe as a middle name it would've been nice, but not a first name.

Those are shitty names IMO; Monroe is the family name of Marilyn Monroe and Morrocan! is a nationality for a person coming from Morocco. Celine's twins' names have a meaning; Mariah's are meaningless...

Thinking about it, Moroccan is a nationality, I think Morocco would've been better if she still wanted that name. But he'll probably go by Scott.

 

Well the names obviously have important meaning to her because The Moroccan Room in her NY house is where Nick proposed & his middle name, Scott, is Nick's middle & his grandma's first name. His grandma raised him. Monroe is pretty obvious because Mariah likes Marilyn but those names have importance to her so as log as she likes the names that's good

It's possible that Moroccan will change her name. Because aside from the name sounding awkward and strange, if her friends will call her, she will be given a nickname that is more horrible.

I find the names interesting although I don't like them much. Anyway, names are not so important. What really matters is that the children have a healthy and happy life.

For me, it would matter. I didn't like my name especially my nickname and i feel so embarassed if a lot of people would know my nickname. As for my real name, there's nothing i can do but for people who i will only meet rarely, i tell them a different name. For me, a good name is important. That's why i already have names for my future children. definitely unique and interesting.

True, but think about what their nicknames will be...Roc and Roe. Nick has already used their nicknames as play on a catch phrase (he said 'let's roc and roe' on his radio show....). So incredibly tacky.

I don't care for Celine's baby names. In fact, I was dissapointed, BUT they are her babies, and it affects me none! I understand why she named them that and it's all good. But the fact that Mariah named her son after a room in her apartment is kinda f'ed up lol! I get Monroe, and I actually kind of like Monroe Carey [rather than Monroe Cannon] but the boy... I think if he was anyone who wasn't famous' kid, he would have a tuff life because of it.

She's not hibernating, she's doing quite a few shows for vegas and raising 3 kids LOL. Now Mariah on the other hand..she's kinda been lazy with her music for the past like 3 years..what she has released was not good quality (like the latest xmas album...sigh)

It discredits any attempts they've made to put on a 'good' image. Celine has always kept her clothes and that really boosts her image as a respectable artist. Mariah on the other hand...sigh. i know Celine's doing good FOR HERSELF in Vegas [who doesnt know that?] !! i just wish she did more, to make more music for the personal satisfaction of people like me; but then again i wasnt choking her neck or somethin to make an albm; was i? its just a personal cry that i let out

 

there's a reason i visit this particular forum topic; i like Mariah & im a fan! i liked what Mariah did with her last 2 albms; especially "Merry Christmas II You" , i thought it was fabulous!!! i dont really care if it didnt sell a lot [one of last year's biggest sellers is Lady Gaga; think about that . no disrespect to her or her fans; she's just not my type]. i wasnt blown away by "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel" as a whole; but it did grow on me later

so there, the quality that ur referring to depends on each other's tastes

im not much of a fan of Mariah taking her clothes off!! i was totally ok with her short skirts & skimpy tops ...but going near nudish is a bit much for me!! but then again who else dont do these things in the pop music world these days? she's still easy for the eyes [my eyes atleast] & kinda turned me on ; so i used to go along watching her 'interesting' ensembles...

Oh, i agree with you that tastes matter. And i'm a fan of Mariah too. I own about every cd she's ever released and i went to one of her concerts. But the 'hibernation' period artists take does get on my nerves, yet it's bad if artists never take a break like mariah seems to do. There's pros and cons.
