CelinesDIVO5 Posted March 9, 2017 at 08:40 PM Posted March 9, 2017 at 08:40 PM I remember terrorizing my neighbors with this CD, and using my karaoke machine to belt right along with Celine. My neighbors loved me so much I also remember getting the special edition with ABY and CWS on the DVD (which I always thought was stupid because you couldn't just play the songs on a normal stereo). I was in my living room the day I got it (on it's release date) and had the DVD playing, and I told myself I wouldn't use the CD ever because I already had the standard edition. Well, I wanted to listen to the CD and was too lazy to go upstairs to get the other one, so I popped it in and discovered the alternate version of "The Greatest Reward." I was so so so excited to get on the forum and tell everyone about it. I was also thrilled to finally bring something to you all that nobody had heard yet! 5 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

That was a long afternoon! Yeah, all the european editions got that stupid warning message printed on the cover (later pressings eliminated that, thankfully). And do you know how EASY was to break that ultimate Sony anti-piracy system? Just place a small piece of adhesive tape on the recorded side of the disc and it will normally play on the computer. Voilà. You won't believe it I remember terrorizing my neighbors with this CD, and using my karaoke machine to belt right along with Celine. chocolatechip15 Posted March 10, 2017 at 03:26 AM Posted March 10, 2017 at 03:26 AM LOL, I was in college, too, when ANDHC came out. Funny how so many of us were -- I didn't know anyone else in college who liked Celine! Also, ANDHC was the last album I bought on cassette tape, cause I still didn't have a CD player in 2002. While y'all were dealing with the anti-piracy stuff on the CD, I was playing the album on my cassette player (Started buying CDs with One Heart . . I was a teeny bit behind the times. Thinking back, it surprises me a little that they were still making cassette tapes in 2002). 5 Quote

If we add to those 19 tracks the unreleased ones and the tracks that were published in One Heart, we'd probably be talking about more than 30 songs! 2 Quote Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)

If we add to those 19 tracks the unreleased ones and the tracks that were published in One Heart, we'd probably be talking about more than 30 songs! That's very possible. There are 4 known unreleaded titles, and yes, then add the OH songs (counting that they come from the ANDHC sessions) and then add "I Have To Dream" (never knew why they didn't include it in the November Limited Edition) and also "Who Could Ever Love You More", working title for "Miracle" and if we take it was recorded back in 2001/2002 as it appeared in some credits for their participants. It's nearly 35 songs recorded between 2001 and 2002 Though it's normal to record more songs for an album than the songs that make the final cut. I think that with all Celine English albums, they do record more songs than those we know in the official tracklist. But with ANDHC it's true, they were all so inspired. Clearly I think IDAN is too 'aggressive' in comparison to other ANDHC songs. Back then articles stated that she had recorded more than 30 songs for the album... Though I have always wondered... Celine said she wanted to start with the easiest song... Would that have been I'm Alive? (btw as I write this IA comes up on the rfm 100% celine dion station, I'll take it as a sign! ) I thought that was the title song ANDHC? When says in the making of feature that she took the easiest song to sing and they're showing her recording ANDHC... I always believed it was that one lol, but now I'm not that sure I couldn't see IDAN in the ANDHC tracklist either. It's a very "sui generis" song on its own (besides, it's the only song from OH that we clearly know it was recorded for OH, so I can leave it there ) Edited March 10, 2017 at 01:57 PM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... There's a French interview from 2002 (I can't remember which one now) in which she said "I took the easiest song on the record and started to sing it on the studio without forcing my voice too much" and then she instantly improvises the first few lines of I'm Alive.
