Alex_Incognito Posted September 25, 2013 at 06:38 PM Posted September 25, 2013 at 06:38 PM Other than her lipping that song and turning her head in the spots where it doesn't make sense for her to be singing, I think that was a WONDERFUL concert. With all due respect, I find the above concept to be a bit narrow-minded which would only appeal to a VERY slim market. I'd rather have a "Collector's Edition" of "A New Day Has Come" with the CBS television special, and the music videos for "A New Day Has Come," "I'm Alive" (both versions) and "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" (both versions) on DVD. (The "Have You Ever Been In Love" music video should NOT be part of a "Collector's Edition" for "A New Day Has Come" as it was a "One Heart" single (consider the "One Heart" songs as "A New Day Has Come" all you want, but they are not part of that promoted project), not an "A New Day Has Come" single.) Ensure "Super Love" and the extended version of "The Greatest Reward" are found on all versions, add "All Because Of You" as a bonus track, as well as the "Humberto Gatica Radio Edit" of "I'm Alive" (if those all would fit) onto the audio disc and consider it done. 2 Quote

Although as a collector, I would totally buy this 'ANDHC Collectors Edition', I really don't like how many fans consider OH to be a 'non-album', just a CD full of leftovers from ANDHC. For me, One Heart is a solid and coherent album (far more coherent than LTAL, TC & LMBTL), a great sequel to ANDHC. For me, the album takes the fresh modern, up-tempo side of ANDHC to a whole new level, showing off the young, hip and trendy Celine. It's a real shame she never got to promote this album properly before AND started. Edited January 1, 2014 at 08:31 PM by Timster 6 Quote
LuisMa Posted January 1, 2014 at 08:39 PM Posted January 1, 2014 at 08:39 PM (edited) ANDHC is great, wonderful, no doubt about it. But OH also has amazing songs that had they not happened, I wonder what would have happened to them, so I'm satisfied and pleased there's that collection as well. Sure there are unreleased songs from that album that have yet to see the light of day, and I really hope they will someday, but every album has them. Then there are some memories that OH also brings to mind, and I wouldn't change them any other way. AHDHC... Love it!OH... Love it!Won't want to change history. Yes, many things could have been done differently, but had they been done that way, it doesn't mean everything would have been much brighter or if the cause of events would have led to the way things are today, so better leave that untouched. Del Posted January 1, 2014 at 08:44 PM Posted January 1, 2014 at 08:44 PM ANDHC gave us up tempo songs in an era where fans craved them from Celine. OH continued that era. You know that an album is great when if it were to be removed from her discography, you would think that something is missing. And to me, that's what happens with both ANDHC and OH albums: if they didn't exist in Céline's collection of albums, they would have to be created, precisely because Céline's discography has never been lavish in uptempo and fresh material. These albums are essentials! 3 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

It's unfortunate that it was under-promoted, but nevertheless I really do enjoy that album. I love One Heart. It's light and enjoyable, but it seems a bit "fluffier" than most of her albums -- with the exception of a couple of songs, like Je T'aime Encore. (that is just pure poetry). I think one thing that gets people about OH is re-including HYEBIL and Sorry for Love (2003 version). Reincluding two songs a year later does give the album an ANDHC leftover feel -- I think it would be a better, more coherent album without those two (They should have included instead All Because of You, which I adore, and which I think would fit perfectly with this album's vibe). I think the other thing that gets people about this album is the blatant Chyrsler tie-in -- that they recorded I Drove All Night because it would work in a car commercial, and that the album came with the Chrysler logo printed on it. The commercialism is just too blatant there. I still love the album, but I don't think it will ever be seen as one her greats. Edited January 2, 2014 at 02:15 AM by chocolatechip15 4 Quote
Javito Posted January 2, 2014 at 09:06 AM Posted January 2, 2014 at 09:06 AM (edited) Exactly, the Chrysler campaign behind this album was too evident here. It looks as if they needed a song that matched the Chrysler commercials they had planned and they found "I Drove All Night", and then they have the perfect excuse to release another album. However, I don't blame them for doing this, because the commercials we got with her she looked really beautiful and they were very cinematic And one can always think that those songs belong to the ANDHC album, which is a great album!. They could have included all those leftovers in a double disc edition of ANDHC, however I understand that they preferred to put them in a new album because they would sell better and would catch more attention since she was starting her new show in Vegas. Anyway, eithe within a new album or continuing the ANDHC success with a double disc release, she was not going to do much promotion for these new songs except for the main single http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6qHw_tcDOE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmznPTTdFtU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzGfF3ufgm0 Edited January 2, 2014 at 09:07 AM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... Thinking your delusional posts can be a slap in the mouth. So what? Do you think your biased chart means can deny the evidence? That ANDHC was her last international success next with IDAN? Save you efforts, because every Celine Dion fan in this forum and out of it knows that ANDHC is one of the last songs that it is instantly recognizable as a Celine Dion "hit" on a worldwide level.Or, put it this way, ANDHC is one of the most recent songs that non-fans can recognize as a hit single from Celine, and they will recognize this song almost virtually everywhere in the world. Because the single received worldwide radio airplay and was a success, you like it or not. Mention the singles that came after it and IDAN, like "You And I", "Taking Chances" or "Loved Me Back To Life", and half the planet (for not saying 3/4) did not even know that Céline recorded those songs. So please, don't make me laugh with each time you try to ridicule the song as if it was a mediocre hit because it simply wasn't. So UK charts the song is "nowhere to be found" according to you...
