This is a tough competition as to who whould be claimed as the real best-selling female artist of all time.

 

It's a good thing that Celine is one of them. and hopefully, becomes the best-selling female artist of all time.

 

 

Do we have to include ABBA, a group of female singers?

You shouldn't make fun of Nana! You might be surprised how many albums she actually sold. She has been in the business forever and was VERY successful at one time in her career. Actually she might have sold more than Celine...

But that was not in the Soundscan area so nothing is for sure.

Nana was never popular in the US so she can't be in contention. And by the way, celine sold 175 million albums tops not 200! come on guys this is the same as saying nana sold 300 million! record companies always inflate numbers to make their artists look good. maybe the 200 million are shipments...
