I think she's selling absolutely well considering she had a lackluster single. Britney's album sales plummeted even worse, and she's riding inside the Top 10 with artists that have a huge hit single (Alicia, Carrie, Garth), and she's even selling more than Chris Brown, who had been recently atop the Hot 100!!

Without a doubt the thing Celine is lacking here is a hit single. Just imagine how much the album could've sold with a Top 40 single! I totally admire Celine for sticking with "Taking Chances" and plugging it at every opportunity, she clearly believes in the song. And you know what, it's working. The thing we all wanted for this album, especially in the US, was for it to sell consistently and just look, it's doing so. If Celine can maintain her position in the top 10 over Christmas, the new single will hit in January and just watch the album go even higher!

Thank you so much for the information. This proves how relevant Celine still is in the USA, as she has three of the 100 best-selling albums in the country. Were ATW and TAST eligible to return to the Billboard 200, they would be at 70 and 90, which is outstanding.

the situation in the u.s couldn't be worse actually . some of u tend to forget that celine was EVERYWHERE during the past few weeks - her promotional blitz in the u.s was massive yet even oprah couldn't help her with first week sales and this week we had DWTS , the highest rated tv show in the u.s , celine was there and we could expect her to sell atleast 300k this week thanks to her performance there yet while josh groban's performances on oprah and other shows effect his sales significantly with celine it seems like people just don't care and i think the reason is the very weak first single which she sings over and over again
