Exactly, dj! He is probably among those people from Quebec who are frustrated over the fact that Celine is an untouchable icon over there. Do you remember the time when ANDHC came out? There was this artcle that came out saying that not everyone from Quebec was happy with Celine. Well, well, well.

Oh boy! How many times does Nick1975 point out that "Taking Chances" is an album with "no creativity and no origianlilty" ?? And the number of times he's compared the TCh tour with the Confessions tour

I there something we can to make SONY promote Taking Chances this time? Are we just going to sit here, chat , do nothing and watch Taking Chances fall out of charts?

Does anyone have an explanation other than Sony not doing it right and Celine's decreasing popularity? Is there something we haven't seen? The tour is not selling out and radio stations won't play the singles and video channels won't play the videos, so it cannot only be because of the Internet. Is it because the last 3 albums were not artistically good enough? Is it because there is no creativity and no originality? I mean, even the Junos in Canada did not give Celine one single award and it has been like that for the last 8 years. What is it that we (or maybe just I) don't see?

Who told you the tour is not sold out? SONY? Or Madonna fans? Give us a reliable source if you want to prove it.

Following a very successful series of shows in London and Paris, Celine Dion's Taking Chances tour continues to play to sold-out stadium audiences across Europe. This past week the tour stopped in Dublin, playing to 64,000 people (the show sold out in one day!), as well as Amsterdam (50,000) and Copenhagen (42,000). The tour continues throughout Europe until mid-July, then takes a summer hiatus before starting up again in North America, on August 12th in Boston.

Celine needs more support and backing from Sony.

Well Sony hardly promotes any of their "legacy" artists. If she switched labels

like MC did then she'd get more support like MC. If MC stayed at Sony then the

same thing would be happening to her and acutally it did with her last two albums. Then

she went to Virgin and they said bye bye, now she's at Island.

When a show is sold out, they announce it right away. The only shows that were sold out are Montreal, Dublin, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Manchester. When they say that a second or third date is added, it only means that tickets were selling well enough to have another show in that city. If you read correctly the post from the official web site that you copied, the only show that is sold out is Dublin.

The information is posted on the Wikipedia page for the tour and is accurate. Another clue is that no dates is indicated as sold out in the table. They definately would have mentionned it if it was sold out, trust me. It's promotional strategy.

i read nick1975's posts, and i think out of his 34 posts, only 4 of them are in favor of celine, and 30 of them are anti-celine. and this thread is for TC's chart performance and not madonna's concert ticket sales.

Please go to the official celine site, as i have just read yesterday, the tour is doing extremely well, and IT IS SELLING OUT, and by the way do you seriously think MC and Madonna can stay in one place and sing for 5 years and still attract so many people, try to do to wiki and there are lots of FACT on the website! and if you don't read english, we can translate it for you!

my favorite English album is Unison

my favorite songs are Pour que tu m'aimes encore, On ne change pas and Unison (the remix)

my favorite video is That's The Way It Is (just turning the TV around to show people that they have to love themselves was breathtaking for me)

Celine, along with Ginette Reno and Witney Houston, is the greatest reference for voice technic; students in singing schools study her technic.

I believe she's at her best when she sings in French but I am blown away when she hits some notes with the rihgt resonnance in English.

I recently resaw Des fleurs sur la neige and I was impressed by how a good actress she is. These are things I would never say about Mariah Carey or Madonna.

Now, please, give me a break.

E=MC2 sold less than TC is a fact. TC tour is larger than Madonna's new tour, and could be the highest grossing tour this year, that's a a fact too. Give Celine and her fans a break, if you can't deal with these facts.
