I would say Happy Xmas War is Over has become the signature song from the album. At least at Xmas time. The Prayer of course is popular year round.

 

I dont think enough people know about Oh Holy Night which is a shame because its better then Mariahs.

Yes, you're right! Happy Xmas War Is Over is probably the biggest these days.

 

I think her version of O Holy Night was very well-known for a while. It used to get played on the radio very often before Josh Groban did his version.

 

So Happy Xmas, O Holy Night, and The Prayer are the most well-known songs from this album. Along with I'm Your Angel.

 

So many gems on this album.

It's become evident ever since Rene got sick/passed away how much he was the one who wanted Celine Dion to be the biggest and the best and the most beloved.

 

Celine herself is so much more humble. Whereas Mariah is very business-minded and wants to keep her brand/name at the top.

 

Celine needs a team to keep tooting her horn in a much bigger way.

A lot of things are hard to watch for her career atm but for me them ignoring TATST is the hardest.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know why, Sony doesn't celebrate/promote Celine's legacy/music more. She was their Queen /Cash Cow in the 90s and she is a legend now. It's so frustrating...

It’s frustrating because I feel like some of the younger generation employees at Sony, Billboard, etc aren’t as big of fans of Celine’s as someone like Mariah. And that’s had an impact too.

I am gonna be totally honest with you. Nobody cares about Mariah Carey too. I am speaking about us, teenagers (I am 21 btw). And Mariah trending for a few day on TikTok doesn't mean a thing at all.

I don't mean TikTok so much... although, Mariah's followers and engagement is definitely better than Celine's on social media.

 

But there's just a lot more articles and buzz surrounding Mariah over Celine in recent years... even before Celine got sick. And I was thinking more along the lines of millennials; they're the ones whose moms loved Celine back in the day.
