I think Sony is taking the initiative on some of these efforts, either doing stuff themselves or sending prodding to Team Celine. Just my opinion.

 

Also, it's ironic to me that Happy Xmas gets the most streams, when I think most fans prefer Oh Holy Night over that song.

I have a hard time believing Sony would hire someone that isn’t capable of catching the fact that the fonts don’t match… and to me, it smacks of the kind of amateur mistake TC would make, based on their past. But who really knows?

 

Perhaps they did prod TC to make the change in an effort to boost streams, but left it up to them to execute the change.

I think they see in their data/analytics that Celine is bringing it lots of clicks, views, and streams these days (apparently MHWGO is trending on TikTok as we speak) and yeah they are probably prodding TC. Idk how digital signage works, but the LTAL ad showing up in major cities seems more of Sony's purview. And then other tasks like uploading wrong thumbnails is left to Team Celine . It would be best if they hire someone competent and creative, depending on how serious they wanna take Queen Celine.

I sincerely do hope that Céline still gets together with her siblings for the holidays, especially because of the losses/changes she’s had the past few years - and this year. The older we get the more, I think, we appreciate how precious these times are with our loved ones actually are. I don’t know, something about seeing this in black and white really hit me differently. �� ��

I'm happy Celine is included but she should've ranked a bit higher.

And The Carpenters should've ranked higher as well... Karen Carpenter's voice is perfect for Christmas songs.

I hope Celine is feeling a weight lifted now that she's let everybody know what's going on. I hope she finds treatment that works well for her and keeps her comfortable. And I hope she's enjoying the holidays with her family.

 

I'm going to remain optimistic that she has many more years filled with incredible things... both personally and professionally.

We tried that email address (and many other email addresses for individual TC members) with Say Yes Céline and never got a single response. Even our initial “test” emails for topics not related to releasing new material went unanswered. My guess is that after Aldo was cut out of the picture, her team was scaled back quite a bit, or maybe they were laid off after the pandemic began.

 

My advice: don’t waste your time. But if you feel the need, then it’s worth another try I guess. Just don’t get your hopes up.

Agree, Mariah’s album includes a monster hit, but excluding AIWFCIY it’s just ok. TATST and Christmas by Bublé are much solid albums IMHO.
