On Apple Music her holiday songs are not even on her top 10. And she is nowhere to be found on playlists. I think that they are ignoring Celine. Also, TC and Sony are so lazy when it comes to her music. It's sad, but I'm happy that millions of people are enjoying her catalogue.

Wow that’s a surprise! And her mood/energy looks so much more like the Celine we knew! She looks happy. I dont know why but im way more optimistic that she might come back someday!

They should released limited edition TAST ornaments in a cool box or something for next year…and maybe an “ugly” Christmas sweater too. Maybe a snow globe that plays one of the songs!

I think Happy Xmas must be included on lots of playlists... maybe it is just the more listener/party friendly of her liked Christmas songs. Because OHN is more beloved.

Regardless, it remains a phenomenal album.

 

-Sublime vocals from one of the greatest singers of all time recorded at the height of her popularity

-A great mix of classic Christmas songs

-Some excellent 90s vibes in the “new” songs which is perhaps even more charming and fun now than when it was released

-Plenty of iconic moments - like The Prayer and O Holy Night

-Beautiful understated album cover

-Appearances from the Dion family

 

I do wish it had a little more French music but very glad there’s some on there. And I would’ve included more classic Christmas songs and less new material but it’s still excellent.

Santa has graciously given me the Opaque Orange edition of LTAL and the Opaque Gold edition of These Are Special Times.

 

I am really happy with the quality of the second release of TAST. The colours of the cover are darker than the 2018 one and...I have noticed that the lyrics that have been omitted before it the booklet(s): O Holy Night, Blue Christmas, Ave Maria, Adeste Fideles, The Christmas Song, Happy Xmas and Feliz Navidad are finally included on the inner sleeves of the Gold vinyl!

She recorded it in 1994... She also recorded The Christmas Song, released on David Foster's album (and later released on TAST)...

This was the first version of the song I discovered... only years after being a fan I discovered the Chante Noël version from 1981...

The belting of this 94 version is so amazing!
