I think she just don't want to go back there. Wasn't it so she is rebuilding in Lake Las Vegas. Maybe the Celine show will go on forever.

 

I wonder why they don't just rent it out, so they can maybe go back there in 2019 after Vegas. The twins will still be young enough to enjoy the waterpark.

It will no longer sell the mansion-aquatic park Florida and will no longer sell the castle of Laval.

Céline René asked not to sell the two properties, because it has great sentimental value to her. Céline Dion and family will use more often the two properties. Céline want to spend the intervals of concerts Las Vegas between the Florida House and the Castle of Laval ... Céline and René already bought land in Nevada, 30 minutes from the Colosseum. The Lot has 19,500 m2.

The contract of Celine Dion in Las Vegas in 2019 is being remade . Céline will be in Las Vegas until December 2016. The concert " Celine " will undergo conceptual changes in the second half of 2014 . The DVD / BLU - RAY concert of Québec in 2013 was postponed due to the success of the concerts in Paris. The DVD / BLU - RAY concert will have a presentation in full and excerpts from the shows in Paris. Scheduled for release for the second half of 2014 .

Umm. .I think this is just someone's wishful thinking. It would mean tons of things Celine and Rene have said in the past have changed, and it's not consistent with anything we've heard anywhere else. For one random person on Facebook to have all this info doesn't make any sense.

Haha ikr? Imagine how amazing a world tour would be lol. Yeah that's what I thought, just someone who made it up...especially because there are no articles to back it up and he couldn't be the first person to find it out since he didn't seem to have any connections with her whatsoever lol.

 

But about it not being consistent...I agree but Celine and Rene have been making a lot of decisions that none of us expected them to make, like selling their florida home. They just moved into it in 2010 and they put it up on the market after spending so much time/money on it..I wouldn't be surprised if they end up keeping it though, i mean come on NO ONE i mean no one, at least no single person will buy a house for that much money because even if the person had that much money, they wouldn'[t put it towards one residence in jupiter island. They could possibly build the land for something else like a mall or whatever, but it's in a neighorhood and Jupiter Island has strict security to even get on the island, so they couldn't open something to the public sadly... I really hope they do end up keeping it lol. Same goes for the quebec home, too many memories in it you know? Besides, she basically built both houses since she created the layout, the furniture designs, etc.

I really hope it is true that she will not be selling her two houses. Can someone please look that part up and find out if that's true? It would be nice if she decided to keep the houses.

 

I'm planning on going to Florida in the summer and the trip would be even more exciting, knowing if Celine still lives there and the possibility of her being there at the same time as me would be super cool!

 

Please let this be true. I just love those houses. Especially the Montreal home. She has had it for so long and has so many special memories with her family there. It broke my heart when they announced they were selling it.

Come on, the press is reporting that the Florida house has been reduced by 10 million dollars.. so if they wanted to keep the house they wouldn't have lowered the price... (unless the price was reduced a long time ago and nobody was interested)

I do have to agree. It's a great house, so maybe she could rent it out, and then after the shows over, they could leave Vegas, and reside in Florida

Yeah exactly! Tbh, anyone who has enough money to buy something like that wouldn't buy it on the florida house, they could use it towards something else and something bigger lol. So personally what I'm thinking is...they will eventually decide to keep it or just keep it on the market and go back to the house to stay there in between vegas, so they can at least use the house until it's sold you know? They're doing that with quebec I think because in 7 jours the twins birthday pics looked like it was in the laval house, not a new quebec house that they purchased or anything. So I guess they're waiting for both houses to be officialy sold before taking out furniture and all that which is smart haha.

There are many homes in the Palm Beach/Martin County area worth tens of millions of dollars. Jupiter Island is THE place to live for the super-rich. Somebody will bite and purchase it eventually and for a lot more than $20 million dollars.

 

I don't want her to sell it though cos I enjoy driving past it saying "Zomg...Celine's house" while blaring Celine songs from my car on my way to the beach. I've not been arrested yet.

There are definitely people out there that can afford a 62 million $ house but at that price i think they would rather build somethig of their own. This house was designed and custom made for Celine with kids.

 

I think only a celine fan would buy it.

Well I think that Celine's house is reallyyy expensive but it cost A LOT more than that to maintain the land, build it, furnish it, etc. etc. etc. etc. and the permits that she had to get to even build the waterpark, extremely extremely expensive! On Ellen she said that she wouldnt lower the price because it was already lower than what she even put into the place to begin with, so I find it ironic/funny how she chopped off 10 millionb ut it really doesnt make a difference at all lol!

 

Yeah, i agree with everyone. There's many people in this world who could afford a house like that...but out of ALL of the places in the world to live and buy a house like that, I don't think they would choiose her house.

Personally, I don't think they should sell it...because no one should live there other than her and her family! The house was built just for her and them because they each put in their time and dedication to designing the house and choosing all of the small details about it! They know every little single about the house and I'm sure RC had a vital part in designing the house as well since he was old enough to choose when they started building in the first place....

I don't thinjk Celine will end up selling it because she might just give up and live there, but to be honest..it must cost A LOT to maintain the house. Gardeners while they're away, pool people to keep the water clean, pool pumps, gallons of fresh water put into the pools each week...it's astonishing!

 

I have one pool and it's not very big but it costs us a fortune to buy pool chemicals, cleaners, pumps, etc. and maintain it, a lot of hard work and dedication of course.

 

So maybe it's because of that...but now that RC is homeschooled, maybe they can go there like they did befrore...in between vegas shows, because it's not like they're going back from florida to vegas every week, it's like every 2-3 months or maybe even more! Like they spend roughly 6 months in vegas a year in total, 6 months in florida...more or less. She said they didn't spend enough time in Florida and yes that's true, but the house is for them! i agree w/ u kyle_jared that something odd & maybe even wrong is happening w/ celine & co. these days... & here are the reasons why i do think so too:

 

 

-her lmbtl album did flop really hard, so it seems that sony, celines team, & celine herself have officially washed their hands of that album now & lmbtl is now officially dead... :(

 

 

-she dropped $10 million off of the sale of her florida home & i also read somewhere that she dropped about a few million off of her quebec home as well since both homes are not selling... :(

 

 

-the music video for incredible was shelved & no other videos were made for her lmbtl album, so lmbtl might really be her last new english album ever... i seriously hope not... :(

 

 

-now sony is also releasing another best of/greatest hits album instead of more promotion for lmbtl... since celine has had 3 best of/greatest hits albums in the past 6 years, its a really baaaaaad sign that yet another one is going to be released this year... usually when a singer or band is releasing soooooo many greatest hits albums in such a short period of time, its because their music careers are about to be over... i really hope thats not the case @ all of course... but like u said kyle_jared, something fishy & scary seems to be really going on in celineland...

yea im curious about why the florida house is being put up for sale when celine & rene & the kids have only been living in it for 4 years!!!! i know that she said that they havent been staying there as much these days because of her performing in vegas, & thats why theyre selling that house, & same thing w/ their house in quebec, which i can kind of understand that to a point... but in my honest opinion, for celine & rene to have bought that home only 4 years ago, which isnt really that long ago, add rooms to it, fix it up, add that waterpark & pools to it, which we know how much time & money have had to go into all of that work... but now all of a sudden they are trying to sell it after all of the effort & money that was put into that house!!!!

 

 

now it really does seem to tie into renes health & the future of celines music career even more right now... this is just all speculation here, but these could be realistic possibilities as to why celine & rene are trying to sell both of these houses right now:

 

 

possibility #1: maybe because of renes health & age, celine is worried about losing him of course & wants to sell the houses since she would end up becoming a widow w/ 3 young children...

 

 

possibilty #2: she might be thinking about ending her music career very soon & go into retirement, therefore she might not want to keep paying for those other 2 houses anymore since she might not be a working woman anymore & doesnt want to use up all of her savings for those houses...

 

 

or possibility #3: celine & rene might be having some big money problems right now that none of us knows about since shes not selling albums these days like she used to & thats most likely why shes planning on staying in vegas longer now, & thats why the florida & quebec homes are up for sale, because celine & rene might be worried that they wont be able to afford the upkeep of those other 2 houses & like u just said j081113, they are trying to downsize their homes & possessions to just having one home instead of 3 homes for maybe any of those reasons that i just listed, or maybe for another reason that we dont know about yet & i cant seem to come up w/ it in my head right now lol...

 

 

like i just said, i dont know the exact reasons either, but these are just possibilities & speculation as to why... i just really hope that its nothing really bad thats happening to celine or rene or their families of course that none of us knows about right now & that hopefully rene will be around for a few more years @ least & i really really hope that celines music career isnt quite over w/ as of yet, i hope that she will release a few more english albums before shes through w/ everything because i love her music just like u all do...
