Celine's house in Jupiter Island, Florida

They're not always open but I've seen them open a few times. Also been behind an SUV that turned into the main gate. Jupiter Island has a lot of cops patrolling...nobody is going to do anything they shouldn't. Also, I should point out that I pass by there when going to a particular beach and it's just coincidence that I'm a Celine fan haha I am not actively stalking. (Usually)

 

I would be more inclined to believe you if you didn't have that satellite image of her house at the ready, haha.

 

(just kidding. I do not think you are crazy and/or a stalker. I do, however, think you are lucky to live in that part of FL, it's beautiful there!)

It is beautiful here. And I've never seen Celine even though I went by the house during the building process and when she was actively living there.

 

It is cool to know she was living near me though. OMG...it's like we almost breathed the same air ;-)

I know plenty of people who have met Celine out and about and I even have a friend who knows her best friend. But I have no luck getting near her. It's a conspiracy!!!!! And for the best. I'd die. :-)

She was at PGA Spa a few years ago when somebody I know was in there. She was kitted out in a bathrobe with her sister (Linda?) and it wasn't until she started singing that anyone realized it was Celine haha

I think the gates are electronic because in the "specs" part of the house on the realtor website it says electronic gates...so maybe they just kept them open for a little bit. I think Celine is in Florida right now, I mean it would make sense to be there right? OR at least Montreal...I don't expect her to stay in LV throughout her entire hiatus lol.

 

I really do hope they spend Christmas in Montreal this year.

In the article about the destruction of the home in Montreal, it said Mrs. Dion was going to call both of her daughters who were in Las Vegas to discuss it. So, she must be at least in Vegas part- time or something right now. Makes sense, Vegas is her home. RC plays on sports teams there too.

 

 

When you get away from the strip, Vegas can be a beautiful place. Lake Las Vegas and the mountains are very pretty. It's not the ocean, but it is still a wonderful place (note: I am not including the Vegas strip. Lol. Although there are some beautiful views of the mountains from certain parts of the strip).

Nah you would be stopped by Jupiter Island security before you got near Celine's part of the beach. Technically you can't "own" the beach but they'd move you along pretty quickly. There are some great beaches within a couple of miles of Celine's house. Like Blowing Rocks Preserve.

I'm sure celine won't stay in LV for much longer because im sure they would want to take advantage of her time off and go to Montreal or Florida. This is one of many reasons I can think of why Celine and Rene shouldn't sell there Florida home. Having the house in Florida allows for a perfect getaway at times like this, when she has long breaks. It's a place to go other then just Vegas and Montreal. Las Vegas is a very nice place to live, but ideally Florida is the better option for Celine's voice. Florida has lots of humidity and Vegas is dry.

 

Her perfect getaway for vocal rest is now gone, she hasn't sold the house yet but I don't think she would be going there alot anymore if the house is on the market. I just don't get there decision to sell the house. I hope they decide to keep it.

I think that they still go there as much as they can, but obviously not like before because it's on the market but also because RC is homeschooled now, so there is no reason to be travelling back and forth for his school because that was the main reason why they did that in the first place. What my understanding is....that they want to still live in Florida but have a smaller house that they can keep track of and not have to worry about maintaining it as much as the one that they have right now. I know that Celine's best friend Robin lives there and she has always loved Florida, so they will go there for vacation regardless if they sell the house or not. I honestly think the house will stay on the market forever until they decide to either (A.) keep it and give up (she said on Ellen or i forgot which TV show that she would not lower the price from the original 72.5 because if she did then she would be getting less than what she invested in it) but considering she brought it down to 62.5 then she probably won't bring it down anymore. Even if she does, most likely no one will buy it or put an offer on it because of the uniqueness of the house. Anyone who has that kind of money won't want to invest it in a house like that because it's too specific towards Celine's needs and her family's. A waterpark is great, but the entire house is white and there are many other specifications that are just too specific for someone to really want to invest their money in.

 

In the video where they were filming it, you could still see a lot of family photos on the wall and the house pretty much looked the same that it did from 3 boys and a new show and the Oprah video tour, except for the photo of Celine, Rene, RC and Charlie that was in the living room. In the video they replaced it with a TV but my guess is because the twins came and it would be sort of awkward to have a photo of just the three of them and not the twins Judging by all of this, they probably still have most of their things in that house just like the Quebec house and don't plan on moving all of those things until at least someone puts an offer on it or buys it. They celebrated the twins' 3rd birthday last year in Quebec and obviously they had Romy's baptism there this July so judging by that, their plans are very relaxed and they're just going with the flow. If someone does try to buy the Quebec or Florida house then yes they'll move out, but for now they seem to be enjoying the time that they have in both of those houses when they do have a chance to leave Las Vegas.

 

In my opinion...if Rene really is sick, I know that his doctors are in LA so being in Las Vegas is close and more practical than Florida, but I would want to be in Florida at that beautiful house if I was sick! I mean come on, it's gorgeous and SUPER relaxing. So if Rene is sick...they're probably going to spend the majority of the time that he is sick in Las Vegas as long as he is doing treatments so he can be close to his doctors but if he isn't sick or something like that, then I'm sure they'll find the time to get away to Florida or Montreal. Definitely Montreal. Maybe they're spending the twins' 4th birthdays in Florida or Montreal??

I am excited for the twins birthday! I am really really hoping we get a new pic of the family. I'm not holding out to much hope, but I want to see a family pic of all of them so badly. I want to see a pic of RC standing next to his mom.

 

Now that he is so tall, I'm curious to see the height difference between them. We got family pics of them a few months ago, but they didn't really show off the height difference between RC and his mom.

 

I also love when they share family moments with the fans, like the twins baptism and past birthdays. Special moments like that are even more precious now that we aren't seeing or hearing anything about Celine and the family. I have a feeling they might share some pics, but again I'm not holding out to much hope.

 

I really do think they might share some birthday or maybe Halloween pics of the family though because it's a perfect way to show how they are doing without using words or making any type of comment on Rene's health. It's a very controlled way of showing the fans that everything is okay. It would also kind of put fans minds at ease. Letting them see that Celine still wants to do what she does.

 

Keeping us updated with a few pics hear and there is kind of like saying, Hear I am, I'm not going away and yes I still want to have a connection with my fans and feel close to them. Right now we are getting nothing and they have every right to give us nothing. At the same time though, the fans are kind of left in limbo not knowing anything, or if she will even return. I don't think any of her fans think she is going to retire or anything, but we don't know what's going on and what Celine's plans are.

 

I think it would put alot of fans minds at ease for them to release pics in a controlled way, through there website or something. Just to show her fans everything is okay and she still wants to stay somewhat connected to her career, while she's taking this much needed break. Like they say, A picture speaks a thousand words, so she wouldn't even have to release any type of statement. I think it's a perfect way to stay connected to the fans without having to say a word if they don't want to.

 

I don't want to sound pushy or come off as being greedy. It was just an idea I had of a way they could release something without having the pressure of making a comment on Rene's health, Just let released pictures from time to time do the talking. It doesn't have to be a regular thing, just birthday pics, Halloween pic, Christmas pics. Things like that, special occasions only.

 

It could be a fun special thing. I can see it now on her official site. Attention Celine fans! Check out this adorable family holiday photo and maybe she could start up her Christmas message thing again that she used to do. It would mean so much! I miss those holiday messages.

I agree we all wish Celine was more active via Twitter or FB and posted pics in general, especially now. However, considering the "known" reasons she took a break for, it might not be very appropriate to post pics. Same is with Sade. At least Celine does not leave for years without any update unlike Sade who did the tour and album 3 years ago and there is nothing from her or if they will record another album or not. So my point is, there is a worse case scenario than Celine's case

LOL LV is def. not Las Vegas, unless we all want to joke that since the 90's it was Celine's and Rene's dream to "get stuck" in Vegas doing a show night after night. LV must be something deeper and meaningful than that.

Her best friend is Robin Slavin right? (....a little strange that I know that but it was in her book then I was curious so I found out her last name online )

 

I think her husband is Celine's dentist of some sort because I remember reading in one of the books (I don't even remember which one..maybe For Keeps) and it said that they had met during Celine's hiatus and found out that she was living right next door to her or something (in her old Jupiter house) and then they became friends.

For the person who lives close to her...I heard that she's at her Jupiter Island house right now. Now..I'm not saying you SHOULD do this since it might be considered stalking ( ) but maybe...just maybe....drive by one day and see if they are leaving or something.
