So she re-listed it with another agency now.. there's some new pictures up of the arcade room (which literally looks like an arcade) and the golf simulator..... I also noticed the photo of Celine, Rene, RC, and Charlie is now gone from the mantle in the main living room.

Oh wow finally! I am happy for her. Another burden less. Now she's gotta buy a beautiful home in Florida to stay in for a looooong time and make good memories for and from her family.

I loved her home in Montreal that just sold, but I can't help but feel sad that the Florida mansion is up for sale. Can you imagine how much fun the kids would be having there? It just seems odd to me. Does anyone know if Celine has begun or already built a larger home in Las Vegas?

Know what you mean. Shame the twins aren't gonna get to enjoy the place like RC did. But what always seemed silly to me were them building/buying such huge expensive homes in places they're not basing in. It would be different if they worked for 6 months and had 6 months off a year. But they don't. Pity she couldn't have had her show in Florida.

I wonder if the $35 million dollar loan went to Caesars for taking a year off? 70 shows per year equals just about that. I'm really wondering if Caesars wasn't very keen about her taking a year off and Celine had to pay them.

IDK. She usually takes 3 months off at a time....doesn't that seem like enough time to enjoy Florida and give her voice a rest, kids a fun place to play? Not that far when you can just hop on your own jet. She doesn't need the money in order to build a large home in LV. I'm surprised they all fit in that little house she has now! I'm just wondering if someone knows if she has started building in LV? I know Rene was ill for quite a while, but Celine would have been using her free time doing something while he slept or while they watched TV. Playing with kids, sure, but she was doing more than that I would think.

I guess it´s more than that. Céline has a contract and i guess the loss her "retirement" caused to ceasar palace was not a garantee the Insurances would cover.

Céline can afford to pay back for a retirement and she was right to do it and spend this year with her husband but it´s not because she is Céline Dion that the Caesar would offer her the vacation ! Business is business for everyone !!

Suppose it would be better if either celine or whoever buys it just gets rid of the lazy river parts and just keeps the pools. People would be more interested I think.

but can i just say something, Caesars actually don't own the colosseum as much, only a little bit of portion, cause mostly it's owned by AEG and Feelings / CDA

which means Rene owns a big part of it! so whenever an artist performs there they need to pay rent to AEG / Feelings

so i don't actually think Celine need to pay Caesars that much if theres anything to pay

It just seems a shame. She isn't hurting for money so going back to the stage is only because she wants to. Why not keep the home in Florida as before. Maybe it makes her feel sad to be there without Rene.

I am surprised that Celine hasn't gotten one of those real estate specialist's that come into your home and tells you everything that you need to fix and improve in order to sell your home.

 

Obviously there must be certain features that need to be improved on to make it more appealing to buyers or something because her house has been on the market forever now and there hasn't been a single nibble, even with huge price drops.

 

I know there is the obvious reason of the huge water park, but I also personally think that her interior of her house could have huge improvements that can make it more appealing to a buyers eye. I know and respect that Celine had a clear direction and theme for what she wanted this house to look like and she was very clear on the interior design that she had in mind at the time, but I think that the interior design and colors in her house don't appeal to everyone.

 

I think that if Celine added more color and changed the furniture and other little details in the inside of the house, it might grab more attention to potential buyers. It can't just be because of the water park. There are alot of people out there who love to swim and be active and outdoorsy.

 

It might cost a pretty penny to fix issues there might be, but I think Celine should do it because either way she is forking out money by keeping that house on the market.

I am certain she had someone come in to stage the house. I agree that the interior is not my favorite with the "all white" for the most part. I love the water park regardless. But, there must be some reason it is still available. Expensive homes often sit on the market for a while. The sellers and buyers both have enough money to wait.

I agree. Always loved this house. I am also a swimmer and would love the water park! Wish I would win the lottery, then I'd buy it.

Yes I couldn't agree more. There is nothing I would change. You could add any pop of color that you liked at the moment.

Personally I wouldn't make any changes either if I were to buy the house. Sadly I don't have $45 million to spend, but if I did had the money, I would buy this place in a heartbeat and I wouldn't change anything because Celine designed every detail in her mind. Owning that home and knowing that information would make me feel so cool that I would be living in a house designed by Celine and formally lived in by Celine!

 

There is also something very beautiful about that house being all white. You really feel the vibes of it being a summer beach home. It's very relaxing looking. I wish she would just keep this house for herself and her kids, but hopefully it sells to the right buyer at some point.

Im not to crazy about the color myself, If your at a beach house make it look like it, colors like some Blue's ,Yellow's ,Coral piece , definitely NO BLACK

Even a house over $2 Million has very limited buyers so imagine at $45M... Anyone who has that money can remove the water spark or convert in into an aquarium if they wish. It will sell eventually...
