I thought I read somewhere where the Quebec house did sell. Did that fall through? I don't see anyone paying $62M for the FL home. That's a ton considering how much it must cost to run.

I don't think it'd be a final tour. She'd only be 51 (after vegas), and some artists are older then her and still are going strong!

I hope it wouldn't be a final tour but you never know. I just checked Wikipedia, which I realize it is what it is, but it still shows her in Vegas until 2019 so I'm not sure where the other info was coming from.

Imagine if all this news is true, which it most probably is'nt, but just if it is. Sh*t, me for one will be sooooo happy. Just think if that all does happen.That now would be something fantastic, out of ths world. Ah well, we can dream hey? Her house in Florida, was'nt that for sale for $72 million? or did they drop the price to $62? I hope they do keep that home, to me it is their most beautiful,especially for the children. ok im not saying that something bad has actually happened or anything, since celine & rene have been m.i.a. for a while now, this is all just speculation & possibilities as to why they are selling their homes all of a sudden, especially since we all know rene just battled cancer again last year & lets be honest here the sales of lmbtl were not that great @ all... i still think that something else might be going on behind the scenes that none of us knows about since celine has been very quiet these days & hasnt been giving out any interviews for a long while...

 

 

as to rene possibility reading this, i highly doubt that big time, because didnt celine say in a few interviews last year that she & rene dont use the internet @ all... i remember celine saying that a few times that neither one of them are big time technology people & thats why her facebook account, twitter account, & official website are all ran by sony & that celine herself & rene dont ever add anything to them, heck celine has never put in one message herself on fb or twitter the whole time that she has had her fb & twitter accounts...

 

 

& most other celebs do actually contribute to their fb & twitter accounts sometimes, whereas celine & rene have never contribute to celines accounts it seems, only sony does the writing which is why celines accounts hardly ever get updated these days lol... so since celine & rene dont use the internet & such, i highly doubt they ever go on this forum or probably dont even know that it exists lol...

 

 

again what i wrote earlier is all speculation & possibilities... & like many others have said on here, i dont think the florida home is going to be bought either... $62 million is a hell of alot of money & i also think that waterpark alone she had added does cost a whole lot of money to upkeep so because of that its turning away anyone from buying... & celine had put too much money & effort into that home & waterpark to just up & sell it for no reason @ all, i still do think that something else is going on that we all dont know about that celine & her team are just not ready to talk about to the media, just like about renes health & his cancer, since celine has hardly done any interviews during the past few months & all, because just selling these houses all of a sudden is kind of abnormal & out of character behavior from her i think... just my 2 cents about this lol... i do hope that celine decides to keep her florida home after all, i think its gorgeous & breathtaking...

wait wait wait, are u sure that her quebec house actually got sold???? because according to the recent articles about her florida home being dropped to $62 million, the quebec home is still up for sale as well, i think that maybe somebody was planning on buying the house, but that deal must have fell through or something, because all of the articles have claimed that she dropped a few million off of her quebec home as well since neither one of them are selling right now...

 

 

& about that post on the previous page on this thread about celine keeping both of the houses, & her bringing out another album in 2017 & doing a world tour in 2018, etc... im taking that post w/ a tiny grain of salt... even though i do want it to be true, especially w/ her doing another album in english & having one final world tour even though she said that she might not do another world tour ever again... to me that would be awesome & fantastic for her to have one more worldctour & record another english album before she does decide to retire, because i would love for her to finally come to maryland so i can see her in concert finally... wishful thinking lol... :)

 

 

i just dont fully 100% believe that post, its just from some random person on facebook on celine-dion-italias fb page, & not to be mean to anyone from celine-dion-italia or anything, since i dont know any of them personally, but werent these the same people who have said that the music video for "incredible" was going to be released in march & be tied to "some special event" or something, but yet that video in question is still m.i.a. & theres been not one word about this so called special event for months... so i cant believe anything that they or the red heads, who have also said the same exact thing about incedibles music video & also about the whole olympics ordeal which we all know didnt happen as well, post online because alot of things they claim dont seem to happen @ all, & it does get annoying & upsetting to keep getting excited about things that dont ever seem to happen these days...

 

 

sorry but unless there are some other articles or posts online somewhere that i havent come across yet saying that the post about celine doing another world tour, recording a new album in english, & deciding to keep her florida & quebec homes is actually the truth, then im going to take as u just said, speculation, just like what i had written earlier listing some possible reasons why she might be selling those houses, which is also speculation... & since celine hasnt talked about touring or doing another album very recently & isnt doing interviews these days, i would rather want to believe anything until i hear or read anything from the actual horses mouth itself lol...

I think the deal for the house in Montreal did fall through. That's why they dropped the price again... (on both houses).

Perhaps. I remember hearing it sold ages ago. I know deals fall through but you never know. I think these types of deals are so specific that usually once you have a buyer you have a buyer. I've seen some posts saying it's still listed online. Seems odd given the type of transaction this would be but at the same time it happens all the time in the real estate world. Homes that have sold don't always get removed from sites. Sometimes it's a tactic to get people to call in to a particular realtor. I'm not saying this is the case in this scenario but it wouldn't surprise me.

Different articles keep referring to it as sold. So, you coud be right.

 

Also, not to mention that when homes like this sell, sellers like to remain secret (for obvious reasons, like privacy and security). Often if the home is even off the market is not made known publicly right away (which may also explain its listing on the website). It depends on the deal I suppose. If you remember when the Spelling Mansion sold, the news was everywhere (as was the ID of the buyer), but Candy Spelling was doing a home/design show at the time and discussing moving out of the mansion. So, I would think in transactions like this, the information released or not released is very fact and circumstances specific.

Okay cut the drama out...and stop saying meaningless things with your little mosquito brain. Celine may or may not be telling the truth about why they're selling the Florida and Quebec houses, but the who the hell cares!! It's their life and we (really, you) have no place in saying why she really sold her houses. They're are SOOO many other reasons why. The reason Celine stated which is the ONLY ONE we should believe is that because her son RC no longer goes to school there, they will not be returning as often as usual. They travel a lot and can't be alternating between Florida and Vegas like usual. She wouldn't sell it if she, CELINE DION who earned over 300 million in her last vegas shows (A New Day), did not have enough money to maintain it. If she doesn't have enough money, who the hell does!? Bill Gates, maybe...but he would never buy that house, ever. Neither would any other rich person who has more money than her, would buy it. She wouldn't of bought the place and built it if she didn't think they would be able to maintain the price and everything. Besides, she said that SHE would keep the house if it wouldn't sell....do you think if she wasn't able to maintain it, that she would keep it?? NO!

 

Also, imagine how expensive the vegas house they're building is at the moment? They want an even bigger interior space than the Florida house and Vegas house combined so RC, Eddy, and Nelsonc an have room to play inside with the heat of Vegas during the summer....imagine how much the price would be, DEFINITELY NOT CHEAP. Maybe not 72.5 million of course but still a lot of money with electrical, water, and other bills.

 

Rene is a smart man and wouldn't gamble away millionsssss of dollars at a time. I know he's lost plenty of money in the past and will probably continue to lose money with the gambling but that is freakin gambling for god's sake!! He also wins and he's won over 15 million dollars at a time one time. You do realize that Celine has a 13 year old son who goes on the internet and sees what people write about him, I'm sure he looks himself up all the time. What are the chances of him seeing this, I know...but still, if you have nothing nice to say then don't freakin post it in this section.
