I'm hoping the concept is simple and oringinal too. Something that shows that we've missed the real Celine that can still wow us. It's been a long, long, long, long, long, time... What makes me laufgh about the whole album...

 

If Celine gave us an album full of ballads people would moan "same old, smae old".  She gave us some great ballads and some great dance/pop songs.

I'm excited to find out the name of the French album. I would like something with the word PLUME in it. Like DE LEUR PLUME or LEUR PLUS BELLE PLUME. Plume is a literary word generally used to describe the work of professional writers (but it's also the word for a fountain pen) and it has various meanings also... Just my two cents worth!

So now is almost certain. Our beloved songbird recorded the album again in a RECORD time of one week! She did that during her vacation some time in November. Jean-Jacques was there as well. Children, we will have an amazing album!             

 

NO word on Veneruso, tho - he is surely rotting in hell and rightfully so! So this time there was surely only Céline, JJG plus Vito Luprano to mix the sounds.

sincerely, I liked Veneruso's compositions...but he had a thing with the verb "suivre" (to follow) and "quand meme".I adore "Contre nature" and "Le vol d'un ange".

but...for this album, no Veneruso.

well i dont know why we should be happy if celine recorded this album in less than a week...this is not a competition and i dont see the point in recording an album so fast unless u have many other projects and dont have alot of time to spend in the recording studio...

this exactly what i dont want celine to do...not with her french record and more importantly not with her english album

 

i want her to take the time for just once!!! with no pressure at all...no vegas...no other projects...that's why i wanted her to record the 2 albums AFTER vegas .

it's not just the recording part , i'm talking about collecting the songs 1 after the other , writing some stuff...we all know that celine didnt have the time to really pick the songs ...she has her show and probably chose from a very small list that her people gave her just like before...it's time for a change and this change can come only AFTER vegas when she'll have all the time in the world...

Puhlease, gogo! SISDA she recorded during like 6 days! With FIVE or more takes on a song so now she perhaps just took the first take for the new album. Just like three years ago JJG said that he couldn't decide which take he'll incorporates, now he surely took the first ever and here you have the full album.

But gogo, you must never ever underestimate te power of Céline: This is her own Quebec self that can move mountains. It's not that she's recording an English album. She has worked for a YEAR and a HALF on the songs and on this French project! It's a really thought-out enterprise with Jean Luc Picard and all the ponies in the world and all the rainbows from all sides of the golden dwarfish pot.

 

So I don't think after she and René and JJG worked carefully on the project so no one can tell she just didn't care for it. She doesn't need any time for her French songs to record cuzz she already understands them streight away. You'll see...you though that she was strong but she is weak...la la la you'lll seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yayaya David Foster's turn will come next year when the English album is due to be recorded.

 

Now it's time to cherish the new French CD.

Une surprise mémorable

À la veille de retourner à Las Vegas, Céline Dion a fait tout un cadeau au public de Marc Dupré en montant sur la scène du Théâtre Lionel-Groulx, à ses côtés, pour chanter en duo Tout près du bonheur.

 

La surprise était de taille. Jamais les spectateurs de Lionel-Groulx à Sainte-Thérèse n'auraient pu imaginer que la grande Céline allait chanter pour eux.

 

Marc Dupré leur avait pourtant mis la puce à l'oreille en annonçant la présence de René Angélil dans la salle. Pourtant, personne ne se doutait.

 

Céline est arrivée tout simplement, vêtue d'un jeans et de bottes à talon aiguille. En l'apercevant, la foule a littéralement bondi de plaisir et les cris de joie se sont étirés jusqu'à la toute fin de la chanson.

 

À la sortie de la salle, Céline était sur toutes les lèvres : «Quel beau cadeau, je suis plus que chanceuse, s'est exclamée une admiratrice, c'est aujourd'hui mon anniversaire.»

 

Complices

 

Marc Dupré et Céline Dion ont interprété Tout près du bonheur, l'unique mélodie que la chanteuse a composée dans sa carrière et qui se retrouve sur l'album Refaire le monde de Dupré. Visiblement complices et heureux de partager ce moment sur scène entre amis, ils ont excellé.

 

«On a ressenti une énergie incroyable du public. Je n'avais jamais ressenti ça aussi fort. C'était chaleureux, écoeurant, a commenté Marc Dupré. Je remercie Céline, une fille généreuse comme ça se peut pas.»

 

Marc Dupré s'est dit stressé, voulant être à la hauteur. Chanter avec Céline c'est toujours un défi. En plus, Céline et René voyaient mon spectacle live pour la première fois. Je suis content, ils ont adoré.»

 

Voeux aux Québécois

 

Céline Dion souhaite la santé à tous les Québécois et les encourage à continuer d'être généreux et à l'écoute des autres.

 

«L'amour, le support et la force, il faut savoir les chercher en soi-même, mais sans la santé, on n'a accès à rien», a confié vendredi la chanteuse au Journal de Montréal, lors du dernier jour d'un séjour «réconfortant avec ceux qu'on aime» au Québec.

 

«J'ai vu cette semaine un reportage à la télé où on posait des questions aux gens sur le trottoir. Ça parlait du coût des cadeaux, de magasinage. Noël, ce n'est pas juste combien ça coûte et donner, ce n'est que de l'argent», déplore-t-elle.

 

J'ai aussi vu un reportage sur une petite fille de 8 ans, un cas d'enfants de la DPJ laissés à eux-mêmes. On la voyait de dos, mais elle était transparente quand même. Elle disait qu'elle s'ennuyait de ses parents, qu'elle espérait qu'ils ne l'avaient pas oubliée.

 

«Je souhaite aux Québécois toute la générosité dont ils sont capables, je leur souhaite qu'ils continuent d'être à l'écoute, d'être au rendez-vous.»

 

Sept chansons D'Elles

 

Céline Dion a profité de ses vacances au Québec pour enregistrer sept des douze chansons qui composeront son prochain album en français, au Studio Piccolo les 20 et 21 décembre, endroit que la chanteuse affectionne particulièrement pour la qualité du son.

 

«Ça s'est très bien passé. Les Québécois m'ont porté chance. Cet album-là me tient beaucoup à coeur et j'ai hâte de leur présenter,» a-t-il affirmé.

 

René Angélil nous confirme que cet album sortira plus tôt que prévu, soit le 22 mai, et qu'il se nommera D'Elles, pour faire un clin d'oeil à l'album D'Eux, un des grands succès de Céline et Jean-Jacques Goldman.

 

D'Elles regroupe des textes d'écrivaines francophones, dont quatre Québécoises. Jean-Jacques Goldman en supervise la réalisation.
