Whenever Céline released a new song, I would always share it with my mom. She loved her music, especially in French. I’m sure she would have loved “Dansons” just as much as I do.

My mom passed away yesterday… and sadly, I didn’t get the chance to play it for her.

This song now has a very special meaning to me.

I’m sorry for your loss. If I were you, I’d still play a song for her, she is with you, just in another form. Hugs

At 2min30, I noticed the comedian Lola Dubini. She dances with Gwendal Marimoutou. The video is very sweet.

Do you know the cute interview that Lola Dubini did with Céline for Celinunu? (They have the same French manager, Valérie Michelin, who we see briefly in the video)

I am so sorry for your loss - I’m sure this song will always be bittersweet for you.  However, what a gift at such a hard time for you.  All the best..

Yes, it’s really moving. One of the rare occasions on which she’s been so open about having been bullied if I remember well. I like this video and at the same time it makes me feel uneasy : Céline doesn’t seem natural, she’s a bit off, fragile. And she obviously imitates the Parisian accent. Afterwards, I wondered if she was on valium at that time. Still a precious vid.

To those that have only played a couple of times and are disappointed, please listen again.  It took me a while to hear the pure magic in this song.

Yes, I have the exact same impression as you about this one. But what I like about it is that Lola is very gentle and tender with her and it's a very human moment. I find a lot of interviews from around that time period difficult/impossible to watch because, to me, Céline didn't seem to be doing well and the interviewers just turn it into a "funny", "kooky" moment. Here, she's fragile, but no one is turning that into some kind of joke. Instead, it feels like a moment of connection and humanity.

Totally right Kev! The more I listen to it the more I get addicted and moved!

And the music video is perfection to me! It really gives another dimension to the song and Céline’s beautiful voice 😍

I'm sorry, but she makes her own opportunites. She is an artist and does what she wants to do. You can either listen to it and enjoy or not.

There is no one golden opportunity for Celine Dion, especially in France. This is a creative statement. She can release whatever the F she wants because, as I said, she is an artist.

It's not surprise that the cover image of this single is Celine facing away from the viewer to her own shadow. She is excavating her shadow in this song, confronting her past. She's not signing for you, and she's not si ging for me. She's singing for herself -- she's singing for the sake of her own artistry. Do you get it now?

I’m sorry to disagree with you, but from what I see, you’re not taking marketing into account at all. The opportunity she had now was enormous; it was a chance to get free publicity through the press, since it’s the first song after her comeback. An artist like her leaves nothing to chance in probability terms. Everything they do is carefully measured—from the anniversary post of René and her, to the release dates of her singles. That’s why they hire people who study Optimization, Game Theory, Marketing, etc.; otherwise, anyone could be part of her team.

However, this time it happened in a very poor way. The video is more than boring: people showing affection, she doesn’t appear anywhere—I don’t know, it’s a very weak video. It looks like copyright-free footage taken from some stock image and video bank on the internet, just because of Jean-Jacques Goldman’s signature.

In her vault there are tremendously good songs; I’ve heard some, and there are even duets already recorded with Thalía, for example. Why doesn’t she release one of those songs? Instead, we get a dull and boring track just because it bears his signature. I’m not talking about her voice—the song simply conveys absolutely nothing. She has wasted the opportunity to release a much better song.

It’s Céline—she could give us a much better song!

It was posted on the official «Danse avec les stars» TikTok account that on tonight's finale of the show, one of the couples will dance to the new single.

I guess it's a first important step in promoting it 😉

In Spain, people are not liking it at all, and on the internet, except here, the reviews are 50/50—good and bad. She has wasted the opportunity for it to be a strong single and to get it promoted by newspapers.

¿Perdió una gran oportunidad para qué exactamente?

So that her song could have something that in marketing we call indirect publicity (or indirect advertising).

Fans should accept the fact that she no longer has to do those big notes from the 90s. I always feel bad for her when I see her in her more recent concerts, straining trying to copy note for note the studio version of her older songs. It makes me want to go up to her and tell her: "It's okay Celine. You don't have to do it that way. You can tune it down a little and we won't mind."

At her age, I really prefer her lower and warmer notes. She also has to learn to live with the fact that those are the notes she'll have to embrace from now on. And it's TOTALLY FINE!

I hear ya! I would kill for "side b" songs than her singing All by myself...but a lot of people only know her "belting" material, so they expect it, but for hrt true fans? She could sing whispering the whole concert and that would be enough

I only just got around to listening to it, and wow… what a beautiful, beautiful song!

JJG, as always, creating masterpieces, and Celine delivering such a touching performance. The autotune bothered me a little, but it’s the reality of her condition, and I’m making peace with that. Even so, her delivery is full of emotion and meaning, something that, for me, was missing in Love Again.

The video, on the other hand, didn’t quite do it for me, probably because I didn’t feel represented, but that’s okay. I’ve never really considered videography to be her strong suit anyway.

So far, I’m really happy with everything. She’s so back ❤️

Video is really very nice but is it official videi or lyric video? On vevo they say official video official Celine page wrote that lyric video is released today ... if there will be another video is not very probably so its shame there is no Celine in video with only one scene with Celine it would be much better

Gorgeous song & very fitting lyrics for the world we live in today. Always loved her lower register so this is really a treat to the ears. She sounds fantastic & honestly there was a time I wondered if we would ever get to hear new music again. I had some tears on the first few listens especially with that ending. 🥹
The video is cute but for me couples dancing around Paris isn’t exactly groundbreaking…but it works for this song.Overall I think it’s a perfect slow introduction back to the music scene. I imagine this song will make it to my Spotify wrapped with the amount of times I’ve played it so far & I think it will be very impactful live during the Paris shows.

The official audio surpassed 400k views in 24 hours, and the lyric video is up to 208k views within 7 hours! Really strong start! Trended at #1 in France!
