They're talking about "Dansons" starting at 2:22. Basically, they're saying they don't like it, and overall, opinions on the web are divided.

On Qub, they spend time trashing. That and « anti-wokism » + anti immigration is their bread and butter. On this vid, the woman doesn’t even understand the deep moral and social meaning of the expression les derniers seront les premiers and its link with the whole song. Qub isn’t a major channel at all.

To the French speaking, question about the ending. Besides the nod to their longtime collaboration, is there a more lyrical connection between Les derniers seront les premiers and Dansons?

“Dansons” is now the #1 song on YouTube, iTunes, and Deezer in France 🥳

What a stroke of genius for the song to feature in the final of Dancing avec les Stars last night in France. And it was a beautiful dance too!

I've just played it again after giving it a break for nearly 24 hrs and I found myself letting out an involuntary sigh...like I was hearing a familiar comforting sound again, it definitely does something to you, like a comforting balm

As time goes by and it's closely analysed,  I think the magic hiding in it will become more apparent, in the sound and lyrics. It's kind of transporting? One of JJG touches of something appearing simple at first but there's more going on than first thought

I also think it's suits JJG and Céline as a song late in their career,  it's subtle and mature or something

Didn’t you know that Dee controls Celine and forced her to make the bun the centerpiece of the single cover? 😉😂

I know it's a joke, but Dee wasn't the hairstylist on this shoot according to tags on Annie Horth's post. Dee hasn't been posting about any of this either. Do we have a new bun stylist in the building? 🫓

It is indeed the best part of the track.

The worst to me are the two syllable-by-syllable lines. Especially that first one 'ne-nous-re-ti-e-nne'

Haha "ne nous retienne" is my favorite that I've been singing allllllll day

If a remix of this song will be released

this one will be the right way to do

Wow, I absolutely LOVE this version! :) This should have been released along with the slow version!

that’s why I think that Celine needs a young team that consists of fans who know what and how to produce things!

Yes ! Overall, the metaphor of “dancing for those who can’t”, those who have no voice. (“Les immobiles, les sans voix ni loi »)

I read here and there from critics that her voice is less agile. Not the same.

honestly if she wouldn’t have made public her illness would it be the same ? Many songs on Courage and Encore un soir are more problematic but it was before. When she was untouchable.

I don’t know. I need to hear her live and with different songs

Yeah her voice hasn't been the same since 2002 imo. She sounds more tired and throaty. Then Vegas happened and her nasal sound became way more obvious. On half of EUS and Courage, she sounds horrid and the whole darn Miracle album. I love the way she uses her voice on this song and I hope she keep that up for the other tracks. I rather have a stripped back vocal album than overly edited songs like Ma Faille or Tu Sauras.

The expression means that there will come a time when all those who suffer social injustice and contempt will be exalted : those who once were at the bottom will come first. I think it comes from the Bible but Goldman strenghened its universal message beyond religion. The song is about a world in turmoil and he encourages us to fight hard times and despair by getting closer and dancing even on the edge on the abyss. He does it, as usual, with soft eloquence (nothing dark and dramatic in his prose) and the voice of Céline conveys the deep meaning.

Céline herself is a demonstration that les derniers (she’s from a very poor background) can become les premiers. Moreover, in spite of her wealth, she reminded her ties with the humble throughout her whole carreer. Her integrity is admirable ❤️

I feel quite frustrated now because I could say more and better in French (and am to lazy to use a translation app.) !

After listening tonight for almost 48 hours, I can’t get enough of this song. Also for the lyrics video. Everytime our queen sings the word Dansons and a couple start to dance, I tear up. Gosh, I’m so sentimental 😩🤣

To me, this song is just an introduction for the new era. A song written by JJG, back to the beginning, the basics. Just after the huge news and announcement of the Paris concerts. As you see, the video is small production, suits the song. But I don't think she will do any kind of promo for this song. So what I THINK, the single in June will be the summer single (prob more uptempo) with a real video and I do believe she will do promo (interviews) for that song and with the concerts coming. That's what I believe. This is just a beautiful slow introduction to this new era. Now this just comes after the whole buzz of the concerts.

New era is kind of what I got from the LDSLP part. To me it's almost like I can picture her finishing recording Dansons. Headphones come off, she walks down a hallway doing her random singing she does. The fade away is her going off to this new chapter.

Wow, I didn’t expect that it would land at top 100 on iTunes US.

Yes, it’s really moving. One of the rare occasions on which she’s been so open about having been bullied if I remember well. I like this video and at the same time it makes me feel uneasy : Céline doesn’t seem natural, she’s a bit off, fragile. And she obviously imitates the Parisian accent. Afterwards, I wondered if she was on valium at that time. Still a precious vid.

Without going back in to watch, wasn't that interview on RC's 18th birthday? Idk, that fact seemed sad to me that she was on a different continent from her firstborn for such a milestone. Maybe that was on her mind aside from probably some pills factoring in.

This I don’t know. That would be an explanation too ! I remember she talked about her sons’ education. She was defintively thinking of them. Thanks for bringing this !

Found the Danse avec les stars piece. If you get a pop-up thing about "see who shared it" just x out. It's the only place I've found it though.

Thank you!  I was waiting for this!
