Concert residency in Paris in September/October 2026 & Just announced: 10 in May 2027!

No venue, nor promoter, or even her own people at Live Nation would be silly enough to bank on an exclusive concert series to mark her return to the stage without an exclusivity contract in place to ensure they were able to make that announcement, this isn’t a case of Celines team holding all the cards besides being able to choose where she did it; this is basic business as it pertains to the music industry. She wasn’t allowed to perform full concerts *anywhere* during the first Vegas run, and in the secondary had to negotiate in order to do Une Seule Fois, and then further discussions had to take place for her later mini tours which could not occur within the same continent. This isn’t simply a decision made by *her* team to maximise *their* profits, but a decision largely made by the promoters, both international and local, and the venues/ companies themselves for *their* benefit.
 

With all that being said, there is also the rather obvious distinction of all the proposed/offered locations vs having the return being in Montreal; it is not a worldwide hub destination, nor does it at present have anywhere near the logistical networks or infrastructure in place to host something on this scale. The other locations considered before Paris was settled on were large international gateways for entertainment and travel, and have these sorts of facilities built into them. Montreal does not. 
 

To top it all off, the only venue that would possibly work, the Bell Centre, needs to be constantly available for various other concerts and, most importantly, sporting events throughout the entire calendar year. It is simply not feasible. 

You're confusing two completely different business models. This isn't a Vegas-style residency contract where an entertainment giant owns the show exclusively for years. This is a standard tour extension driven by massive market demand. Adding extra dates because tickets sold out instantly isn't an 'exclusivity obligation', it's just capitalising on a highly profitable market.

A standard venue contract might stop her from playing a rival arena in the same city during her run, but it doesn't legally lock her out of planning a residency at home. Her team simply chose to ride the wave where the profit margin was highest, which brings us right back to my original point.

As for Montreal lacking the infrastructure or travel networks for an event of this scale, that's just demonstrably false. It has hosted her biggest historic runs before.

Besides the business part of this comeback regarding Paris Choice ( Honestly I don't believe about these London / Munich options that  would have been a non-sense) I can't stop thinking about René views on Celine career. I can't remember the show at the beginning of the 2000 it was, but he said he had everything prepared for Celine career , and as career is cyclic life life, it raise, live and end. And after reaching the top, he planned her carreer to focus on French-speaking market for years, and then finishing in Quebec before retiring.

I was not selected the first time, so I bought Prestige tickets via Event Travels for the opening night show. This time, I was selected and just picked up Section K tickets for May 15, 2027. 

Looking forward to both, and it's good to have shows on the horizon after so much uncertainty. 

I am not sure some of you are capable of being happy. After years of being unsure she'd ever step foot on stage again, I can't imagine being so sour about it regardless of the venue, the potential setlist, or whether or not I could attend at all. It's such a personal triumph for her, and no one deserves this happy outcome more than her.

I opened the link at 3 AM for the sale to start at 4 AM where I am. 20,000 people ahead of me. Waited nearly an hour to get in. The site messed up as I was looking between different dates. I got kicked back to captcha which seems itself not to know which pictures have a vélo or bus or stairs. After a long cry I'm going to bed at 6 AM sans billets. 😩

Oh wow, that's bad luck with the captcha. Honestly, try checking again if you can! I went back in a few times after buying my tickets and the queue was completely gone, so there's a good chance some tickets are still popping up.

Didn’t receive a link the first time around and didn’t this time either. Thank god for Event Travel. Minimal fuss and September + May booked. I’m looking forward to seeing her again. For nearly a decade, I saw her at least twice a year. It feels amazing to be making plans again!
