Concert residency in Paris in September/October 2026 & Just announced: 10 in May 2027!

I got selected this time round and told them where to shove it in my reply!

Money grabbing lazy twats.

They don’t give a s*** about us, and their previous attempt of trying to arrange tickets and signing up for “their updates” that never came proves this. They handled it like amateurs with only money in mind.

Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to take their rose coloured specs off and have a look at themselves.

And I reckon this next time round will be another stressful shitshow for those trying to get decent tickets.

And NMJ I love NYC, lots to do and the people there are lovely! 😊

I got my tickets for September shows through Event Travel. Just to confirm guys, do they send digital tickets or physical ones once the date approaches?

I do feel that Celine will announce other cities in the future soon. I’m sure they’ll want to sell  these tickets first and then announce shows closer to home for some fans in hopes they go to both. 
 

I think Vegas becomes tricky now for Celine… I think they’ll definitely return there but the question is how many shows will She want to do? With her current 4 shows a week there’s no reason she couldn’t go back to a smaller venue but if she wanted she could do the SPHERE and get 4x the capacity in one night/show.

Any concerts with this blasted disease are incredible. What a woman. She’s an icon. I was at a 21st birthday party. All excited I’d tickets to see her. She’s a living legend of unparalleled stardom. Young and old. Even though I’m much older than those at the party. God child 🤣 Celine has never known such stardom. The disease making her more cherished than ever. As it should be.

Anyway, what cities do you think she will do next to do a residence? In all honesty I also see her go to London. But, the O2 doesn’t have the capacity. Manchester might have a better capacity in arenas but is not a international gateway as London.

Out of curiosity I also asked it to AI, but it doesn’t scale the success of Paris. It comes up with Tokyo, Singapore, Vegas, NYC, Montreal. 

Montreal, yes. NYC, definitely not the MSG. It’s one of the most booked venues all over the world. Vegas, yes, but not for months as Paris. Tokyo seems to be an interesting place, but AI gives her only max 8 dates to sell out there. It’s so interesting though. 

What would be interesting is to see her doing a residency in Brazil or Spain since she’s barely been there but has a decent group of followers. The Latino community is waiting for her and I think she could sell out a few weeks as well. 

Interesting question: would you travel to Tokyo to see her if it was a single residency? How far are you all willing to go?

I hope for other fans that will happen, but I also can imagine the madness if people decide to fly all the way to Paris, buy tickets, hotels, planes etc. Only to find out that eventually she will be closer to their home.

Bookmark my post… they are gonna do it. People from the UK And other parts of the world will end up flying to Paris and then a different tour leg will be somewhere nearer to their home or in their home. 
 

At this point if Celine is fit enough to commit to 26 shows possibly more if they sell out quickly it could expand by 6 shows again… then it’s a matter of time before we see The UK and NA dates… probably London, French speaking Canada and then Vegas, or NYC/LA.

It’s Celine‘s health hold up which all signs are positive right now, there’s no reason why they won’t expand too many cities. I truly believe that the reason they are expanding Paris first is because of all the people who did not receive tickets many of whom are of local nature. Also, it would be easier to go that route first because they could just store the staging and all the bells and whistles of production in France and pull it back out in May.

But trust me, if Celine health holds up, she will expand the performances.

Yes I think so… between now and September we could see other cities announced. It’s even possible there could be another city between October and May that is announced soon too.

Apparently you don't give a s*** about fans either or you'd have attempted to purchase a ticket and pass it on to someone who wasn't lucky enough to be selected.

Little disappointed that no shows announced in Montreal yet. But I remain hopeful she will come in Quebec.

Any speculations on the merch available in Paris? I would love to have a hoodie like that! And maybe a program?

I truly believe that Celine was part of this treatment trial… to be able to commit to 26 shows is telling.

My relation with Celine has become toxic and I don't want to run only when they call. 

Marketing-wise, this whole comeback could have been built with more subtlety than blatantly taking me/us for cash cows. 

They built anticipation with some tiktok videos only to show she's not dead, not out of sincerity or willingness to do it. They put on sale 16 concerts , they sold them out and pouf they vanished for 2 months. 

Now they come back for more money out of the blue and still not a word from Céline. She is in her ivory tower and she just sent the trainee to call us.

No one is forcing you to go to a concert. What I wonder is... how much different is this from about 10 years ago? When she was in Vegas since 2011 again and Live 2016 or Live 2017 were announced? We always have to make plans and buy tickets quickly. It's never Céline being in an interview like: "Oh yeah I am doing a tour and you can buy tickets over 2 months". 

A few years ago we were afraid she could never sing or perform again. Now she has announced 26 concerts, released a single and is recording a new album. Count your blessings!

It’s the silence Davey…

when she announced her Vegas return she did interviews… Oprah for example amongst others just as an example.

This return is bigger for obvious reasons and she’s done nothing so far, no update on how she got to this point following on from her doc.

And as amazing as it is that Paris sold out and the new single is great and all that… she obviously doesn’t have to promote this residency, but she does need to check in ahead of these shows with an update, as it all feels a bit strange.

She has still to prove that she can sing live on stage. Everything we have seen so far has been lipped. A single can be edited and take various takes like we seen in her doc. So was it the same scenario with Dansons or has something incredible happened since she recorded Love Again.

This is something a lot of fans have an issue with and does need addressing, but instead she’s announced more dates. So it does seem like the open book is closed at this point but the bank is wide open for fan money.

Lets see maybe she will do a sit down soon with someone to update us after 2 years.
