If there was a flight restriction in Las Vegas during the time she was planning to be leaving she wouldn't be able to leave. I live in South Florida and we were all inconvenienced when Trump was president at least twice a week when Air Force One was coming in and out of West Palm Beach. And then again when his motorcade was making its way across town to the island.

 

Precisely. Protocol usually demands that once Air Force One touches down, all flights come to a screeching halt until the the President's motorcade leaves airport property, and then again when the President's motorcade touches airport property until Air Force One is in the air.

11 hours of travel for a 5 min appearance but boy, did it pay off in PR!

More importantly, if she can do 11 hours on the road on Sun/ Mon night, then go out again on Tue, well that bodes well for how she’s doing.

So, after the excitement of the last week, now that she’s officially back out in public, what’s next?

Several hockey outings with the boys - will she take them to Super Bowl? It is right there. Other award shows this season? I expect she’ll want to see Adele’s show before her run is over.

Im pretty sure new songs are coming since the documentary says we follow her in the recording studio.

The funny thing is even after all that's happened, Taylor didn't even post any message or photo on her social media about Celine or even their photo together. It was even Celine who posted their photo together. Nothing from Taylor at all. As if nothing happened, she just hops on her jet and starts her tour in Japan. Because Taylor is the most important person who has ever lived. Celine is a lowly adult contemporary singer in comparison. Taylor only thinks about Taylor.

When Dee was there a few days ago I would have expected Celine there. I would be great pr if she shows up.

Yes I saw Dee was there a few nights back. I wonder if Celine is avoiding it because it’s the Colosseum and she has mix emotions about the venue now. Because she seems like a bigger Adele fan than Katy fan but she’s seen Katy twice now.

There’s a hell of a lot of memories in that theatre for her…

I think it’s known as the “house Rene built” and it’s emotional for her.

 

No as far as we know she hasn’t returned to Caesar’s since she left.

It’s different but it’s not that different. They also changed the venue between her first and second residency.

House Of Dion, I’ve always called it.

 

For me personally I could never go back in there unless it was to see her perform again.

And it was weird walking past it a few months ago when I was back in Vegas but hey life goes on!

I haven't been in the RW theater (wasn't open yet last time I was there), but I have stayed at RW and it's just such an underwhelming venue. Would prefer Celine to go somewhere else, but don't think there's any chance of that happening given the AEG relationship and given how long and patiently RW has waited for her (not to mention they desperately need to fill that theatre).

I completely agree it’s like an arena in Europe with no soul or buzz. It’s such an odd hotel/casino in Vegas compared to all the others.

Something anyone else could’ve wrote. Obviously we all know that more we see her just doing basic things like those 5 points, the higher “chance” of a comeback.

 

I wonder why she opted to NOT be seen at the hockey game 2 nights ago… all the other appearances she obviously wanted to be seen. :hmm:
