I think she might come back with small, one-off things. Like guesting in somebody's show/ TV special or something (possibly pre-recorded). I can't imagine her going "cold" back onto the stage to do a full show. She's never been away from the stage this long since she was a teenager, right? It'll be 4 years in March.

I really think something like becoming a coach on “The Voice” would be the perfect opportunity to get her feet wet again … they do very minimal performances throughout the season as coaches, and it would get her back out in the spotlight in some form until she sees if she’s ready to return to performing. We do know “the voice” contacted her in the past and wanted her as a full time coach, I think alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend etc.. it could be awesome.

And you can say the same about a lot of other artists.

I think ultimately everyone knows these shows are a bit silly and meaningless. It’s marketing, that’s all. And a lot of campaigning behind the scenes.

That’s why I’m always amused when a winner’s reaction is “Aw shucks… what a surprise!” Like, come on, you/ your people had to submit you for nomination.

I'm sick of people telling to to get over this drama and not feed more to it, when what we witnessed was the nasty action of the biggest spoiled brat in the music industry towards the legend, probably one of the lowest moments of television history of awards. Frankly I don't think it has been discussed enough and also don't see any major celebrities come to Celine's aid. Just imagine this would've been Michael Jackson or Madonna, Whitney etc

 

Only think I regret is that Celine doesn't have a sharper tongue and also that she agreed to that photo backstage. I can clearly feel how upset she remained even under that camera smile.

Also can we please not pretend that Taylor ever cared about her? Celine was snubbed by her also last time when receiving Billboard Music Award, yes at that time she received a little hug but othervise she ignored her just as much. This young lady is clearly not a fan, and that's ok, but missing elementary manners is tragic.

Taylor Swift is a narcissistic, self-absorbed, overrated songwriter/entertainer. People outside her army cannot even name 1 song of hers, nor can they recognise her voice. She is behaving like a spoiled teenager exactly because there is very little substance to back up her success.

 

Celine, on the other hand, is a music legend - instantly recognisable voice, a range of timeless classics, sold over 200m physical albums, influenced many contemporary singers, changed the entertainment scene in Vegas, and did her bit to expand francophone music to non francophone markets. Her success has actual substance. This is one of the reasons why she is so humble, respectful, but at the same time confident and focused. Taylor should be taking notes really.

 

I am feeling she will end up being cancelled at some point much like it happened with Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden - fellow narcissists/so called ''nice people''.
