Shamrock_1982 Posted February 7, 2024 at 04:48 PM Posted February 7, 2024 at 04:48 PM How reliable is TMZ usually? She’s not cured but I think at the same time they been spending too much time getting info from Claudette. Speaking of which she’s a bit quiet these days isn’t she… strange that! 3 Quote

They often break the big stories.Though I stand to be corrected - I don't really follow pop culture closely other than Celine! Has anyone noticed, since Celine has been resurfacing again from her very first appearance at the hockey game to the Katy Perry concert, and now the Grammys, and unsure if it’s true, but the rumor that she was at hockey game the day after the Grammys… I wonder if she has a bulk of “good days” after receiving certain infusions/ treatments and that’s when we see her. Could be a coincidence but so far it seems we see her a couple times in a short span and then she tends to disappear again. I may be crazy I don’t know lol. CelinesDIVO5 Posted February 7, 2024 at 06:25 PM Posted February 7, 2024 at 06:25 PM (edited) Taylor Swift is a narcissistic, self-absorbed, overrated songwriter/entertainer. People outside her army cannot even name 1 song of hers, nor can they recognise her voice. She is behaving like a spoiled teenager exactly because there is very little substance to back up her success. Celine, on the other hand, is a music legend - instantly recognisable voice, a range of timeless classics, sold over 200m physical albums, influenced many contemporary singers, changed the entertainment scene in Vegas, and did her bit to expand francophone music to non francophone markets. Her success has actual substance. This is one of the reasons why she is so humble, respectful, but at the same time confident and focused. Taylor should be taking notes really. I am feeling she will end up being cancelled at some point much like it happened with Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden - fellow narcissists/so called ''nice people''. While I’m not a fan of Taylor’s music, and most of the time not a fan of her period, she has done some good. She is VERY good to her fans, she gave all of her tour employees super hefty bonuses, she stimulated the American economy in a big way, she’s a huge ally to the LGBTQ+ community, and she managed to motivate over 35,000 young people to register to vote in the fight against Trump. Like I said, I’m not a huge fan. But we can’t deny her stature in the industry. I say the same about Celine when people say they’re not crazy about her voice. That you can absolutely not appreciate her music but you can’t deny her talent or impact. I don’t understand the craze behind Taylor Swift at all…. However, there are many people who don’t understand my craze about Celine ( though I think they need their ears checked). I don’t judge who people want to like as an artist. However, none of that takes away from the utter disrespect that was shown to Celine. You don’t have to be a fan of her music to understand her Raw and sheer talent she possesses and what she has done for the music industry, she’s truly a living legend and you have to respect that and at least at bare minimum make EYE CONTACT with her. I’m not a fan of Mariah Carey but I were receiving an award from her, I’d acknowledge her status as another living legend and would be honored to have her hand me the trophy. I can’t buy that Taylor was shocked enough to the degree to not even acknowledge Celine, this isn’t her first award, it was actually her record setting AOTY award…. But it’s not everyday Celine Dion gives you that honor. Such a missed opportunity but actually resulted in even more love for Celine. I’ve reached out to her hair stylist, Dee, who was kind enough respond. I asked her if this means we can expect more fromCeline in the near future, and she said… “I’m sorry wish I knew but they don’t share that information with me.” So I think it’s safe to say nothing is on the books as of now, at least not in the capacity to which Celine would need a hairdresser. However, that could’ve just been a her nice way of telling me to mind my business ( which I respect lol) but can’t blame for trying. 1 Quote

I do not disagree with you nor Luke regarding Taylor’s attitude on Sunday night. Trust that I took quite a few punches for what I had to say. I thought the lack of manners and child like behavior was absolutely atrocious. I don’t care who was handing her the award, you acknowledge someone that is handing you a trophy. 1 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

Her voice and music are mediocre at best.Exactly why I said that her success lacks substance. Because it is not backed up by talent proportionate to it. As I said her voice is not distinct and I doubt no fans can name her songs. That she has commercial impact is undeniable. It comes with the commercial success which is again undeniable. takeachance Posted February 7, 2024 at 11:29 PM Posted February 7, 2024 at 11:29 PM (edited) Imagine being treated so awfully on-stage, then asked for a PR photo as soon as you both step off, obvious to all parties it's for damage control... Someone on a different board commented being backstage and seeing her team scramble to make it happen, with pic dispatched to channels immediately. Impressive team, tbf. Céline really is too nice. I can't see Mariah or the late Aretha Franklin giving a s***, and just walking away in a huff lol I wish Celine's team hadnt allowed Taylor a picture with her, but then we all know Celine is too nice and classy to refuse (not self centered & immature like Taylor is) Edited February 7, 2024 at 11:30 PM by takeachance Quote http://i66.tinypic.com/2dk08jn.gifRIP Rene Angelil xx Sending Love and Prayers to Celine

I live in South Florida and we were all inconvenienced when Trump was president at least twice a week when Air Force One was coming in and out of West Palm Beach. And then again when his motorcade was making its way across town to the island. 1 Quote
