"Love Again": Original Soundtrack - Official Topic

[A new day...]

Does anyone remember when was the new 'Love Again' title confirmed? That could give us a hint as when the song was recorded. I don't know where they got that piece of information, but I could easily believe it since the title of the movie changed several times until this last one was announced along with the release date.

 

EDIT: Just found the post revealing the new title. It was at the beginning of November, it could indeed confirm that the new song was recorded around october last year.

I don't think I'm looking for a number 1 hit song. This song is average it is not a great song, the melody is not catchy , the lyrics ... they could have changed some words, feel like she is saying the same thing in the song; Maybe the movie will be good only god know

I'm asking cause I want to see whether it'd be sensible for TC to be working on more lyric videos like that one. They would totally give new life to old songs! And how about lyric videos including translations of her French material? I think this would help introduce her French stuff to an even greater audience.

I was thinking that too... But it could also be that because of the recording of Love Again, Céline felt she couldn't do La Mémoire D'Abraham justice by re-recording it?

This crossed my mind too. My thinking now is that they were recorded at different times. Hate to think LA was first (maybe end summer / start autumn) and that she felt worse a few months later for the French song.

 

4 months until the tour is due to resume. I don’t care about the tour but I hope we get an update soon. Hoping if there was a video for the last one they’ll do another video. Now we know the issue she might prefer to update via video as opposed to the usual text document.

It was recorded recently that’s why the change of Movie Title. But the other new song for sure was recorded around the time where they were shooting the film. If in the film she wasn’t singing live then i would assume that she recorded the new songs after they shot the whole film.

 

The La Memoire D’Abraham was the other take from 1995 vocals. Since it was confirmed that she will not record new vocals for this song
