I wonder if Eddie is immuno compromised or just very very careful, he seems to be always wearing a mask in public.

Maybe he just has acne. I knew many teens that were happy with masks because they could cover their pimples.

Or he doesn't want to shave smile.png my husband often was too lazy to shave during Covid and just wore a mask for that.. I was so annoyed giggle.gif

Apologies in advance for being a party pooper, but I cannot draw the conclusion that Celine is ready to get back to stage based on this clip.

Her energy is there. And she can work these heels, no doubt. It has also been very encouraging to see that she does not seem to be affected by lights, loud noises, crowded places. However, what prevents me from seeing this in a more positive light is the way in which she uses her voice. Not just in this clip but in some previous ones as well. In this instance, she went for a light falsetto in words she would normally emphasise (''flight'', ''alive''). It was all very reserved. I am not saying she cannot hit the notes, I am saying she did not hit them.

Point is, I would need to listen to her in full voice to make a judgement. And even then the judgement would not be 100% safe. Because she might be able to sing comfortably in the 4th octave (much like every female singer), but this would not necessarily mean she can access her lower register or upper register the way she did, or ensure an excellent breath control.

What I take from this beautiful clip is that she enjoyed a night out, and I am happy for it. :) Wish she has more happy days like this one. However, as far as her comeback to stage is concerned, I will personally wait for an official announcement. I am not going to get my hopes up based on such shorts clips.

You are entitled to your opinion :)

But I think an announcement ain’t too far away now for her vegas comeback.

Just like previous vegas show cancellations she made going way back to A new day, where she cancelled for various health issues over the years some times an hour before curtain up… she can always cancel a few hours before with this condition if she needs to.

Something just feels right after all this time!

Love the way rene Charles looks at her. He’s so sweet. She’s done a fabulous job as a parent. Amazing xx

Acting wacky in a small group, or attending a (full) concert or show is not the same as performing for almost 2 hours in front of an huge audience coming just for YOU.

However, I am hoping that Céline stepping out of the limelight again, in combination with the documentary, does mean that something will happen. Performing live again would be the dream. However, I would love a new (French) album first. I can't imagine her coming back on stage without new music.

Ya I’m with Shamrock. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but Vegas annoucement is imminent - and it couldn’t be more obvious. Build up has been steady , and purposeful since Grammys.

Wow… even more impressive there’s a Q/A with director Irene Taylor as well! Wish I could attend but it is the wrong coast. :(

Yeah… would love to hear the Q&A.

Irene is getting an award from PAM the night before as well (I had posted the link somewhere earlier in this thread).

I wonder if the QA could be filmed?

What is teamCeline doing adding the same trailer to YouTube again?

Somebody go get their grandma the intern and tell her to stay away from her Instagram too.

It is a bad thing that my personal highlight of being a Celine fan (in the last 4 years) was when they got trashed on Instagram for their so-called soundtrack?

Celine’s biggest fans at ROLLING STONE promoting the pointless soundtrack album to “I Am: Celine Dion”.

Surely they know this album isn’t popular right now among fans, at this point I feel they are trolling us LOL.

Done. Thanks.

Hopefully others do the same! I’d love to see it.

They’ve previously posted clips of Irene’s Q&As there (like this, for her last film - https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1A3O1NvFsi/?igsh=a3A0aWRxajgwaGF5), so surely they can do it if there’s enough demand. I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to promote their programs and museum.

Is Irene local to Oregon? I wonder why that’s the location they are using, and if there will be any others in the major cities like LA and NYC.

I wonder if they’ll set up a screening in Vegas and treat it as mini premiere with a QA with Celine and Irene? That would be awesome.

If enough of us ask, perhaps they’d do it.

Their IG is here: https://www.instagram.com/pam_cut?igsh=MXNpdXlmZ2g0ZnNvMA==

And Twitter here:

Cool that is SOOO AWESOME that Irene will be doing a Q&A for the documentary!! Hopefully there will a live feed online for fans who can not make it in person, that is so cool!!

CANT WAIT FOR THIS DOCUMENTARY TO COME OUT!! ONLY 22 MORE DAYS TO GO, YAYYYY!!

EXACTLY!! As much as I wish Celine could do tours, residencies, full length concerts, etc like she used to... But personally I WOULD GRATEFUL FOR EVEN A NEW ALBUM OR HANDFUL OF NEW SONGS, MAYBE ONE SONG PERFORMANCES, GUEST APPEARANCES ON TV SHOWS/MOVIES, ETC... THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!

I know it is hard for some fans to accept that Celine has SPS & things are different... But we also need to be GRATEFUL FOR WHAT CELINE CAN BE ABLE TO DO instead of wanting more & more & more instead of just being happy with whatever we get from her from now on!!

Or maybe it is good thing they put online later than the others (it was already Prime’s channel and on her Insta) to span over a longer period of time, like a reminder 🤗

Guys, will I be able to purchase the documentary on Amazon, just like you can purchase movies? Or will I need to have a subscription to prime and just will be able to stream it?

Maybe they waited for the ones on Amazon Prime youtube account to get views first? And then just make sure less attached fans see it too?

Like, those who are more casual fans who might not know about the documentary but follow her socials.

Idk

Off topic but Diane Von Furstenberg of the fashion world has her own documentary on Hulu set for release the same day as Celine’s, June 25. And she’s on GMA currently promoting it, not sure what that means for Celine and Amazons approach, promoting wise.

While I agree with a lot of what you said, I think head voice and lows are easy for her, it’s the 5th octave in her belting which is more prone to have issues.
