Santana's docu premiered on the Tribeca festival in June 2023, the Netflix docu premiered in August 2023. So Tribeca (June) and Toronto (mid September), both are possible for a premiere on Amazon in September. We will see.

Sorry, the C. Santana docu premiered on Amazon in September 2023.

Si la durée officielle est communiquée, on peut imaginer que le montage est terminé

If the official duration is communicated, we can imagine that the assembly is finished

Ah, the dreaded 'soon'.

I'm expecting this docu no earlier than November 2025 at this point 😂

I sent an email to Krista Wegener from Sony Music (EVP, Development, Sales and Distribution). Let's wait for her response.

Certain fans online are already complaining about a 102 minute run time….

First of all, that’s nearly 2 hours, and second; if this direction is going mainly focus on Celines SPS journey, I’d rather it be a length that doesn’t over do it… I think some were expecting a 4 hour long movie or something…. :hmm:

I like to see the short run time as reflecting a short journey to recovery :)

But see, I don’t consider 102 minutes a short film… unless they are counting a 35 minute credit length or something outrageous.

35 minutes credits! That really cracked me up. 😂😂

Well yeah it’s not that short for a regular film… but it is short when you think that many celebrities these days release entire docu series consisting of several hour-long episodes. Plus, with Céline, given how little behind-the-scenes content we’ve received since 2011, I’m very hungry for more. :P

But maybe there isn’t that much of a story to tell. And really all I want to see is a happy ending. Not just a happy, but a triumphant, inexplicably miraculous outcome.

But for real now, it’s strange how we haven’t really known what Céline’s life looks like offstage for the past 13 years. They got us so used to seeing everything back in AND/TCWT/3 boys and a new show, with those awesome documentary-style releases. These days we don’t even know what the inside of her house looks like anymore, or what toys the twins played with, or how Céline and TC approach professional matters and the behind-the-scenes of creating shows and making tough decisions like postponements or cancellations. Or if Céline still wears that saline mask on the drive to the show in Vegas :P

Seriously, I miss all that.

Common dominator, was RENÈ…he was the true “open book”, not Celine.

Yeah he loved show-business.

And if we couldn’t have René for longer, then at least Aldo was amazing too. I’m still sad that he left, thinking of all the things he could’ve done for Céline and for us as fans. I hope that whoever Céline’s current/future manager is, whether that’s RC or someone else, has the same passion as René did and knows what it’s like to be a fan (in the 21st century might I add).

I think RC will be her future manager (hopefully) and will continue Celine's career in the sense of Rene. He studied MBA right?

I don’t recall ever knowing whether he chose to pursue further education at all (other than rumors), much less what he studied.

No. Don’t think we ever got confirmation that he even went to or finished undergrad, never mind a graduate degree that generally requires at least 5 years of post-undergrad work experience.

I couldn’t care less what she does on a daily basis. Her personal life is just that - personal. And personally, I’m glad she’s been away from the public eye.

The pictures she shared on Instagram during the pandemic, out in the wilderness, made it clear how much she values having the freedom to roam around without anyone bothering her.

This docu will be very personal. Celine at home and in the hospital?. It will be interesting to see how they managed that.

Well, the official note from Celine site says:

This intimate exploration takes viewers on a journey inside Celine’s past and present as she reveals her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and the lengths she has gone to continue performing for her beloved and loyal fans. From visiting her couture touring wardrobe and personal effects to spending time in the recording studio, the documentary captures a global megastar’s never-before-seen private life. An emotional, energetic, and poetic love letter to music, I Am: Celine Dion captures more than a year of filming as the legendary singer navigates her journey toward living an open and authentic life amidst illness.

Yes. It's only to remember that the DOC is about Celine career not only about SPS. smile.png
