Yeah I also thought this could have been the early signs and the very first beginning of the disease... we don't know if the back pain was fully gone a year later in 2018 (where she had the ear problem), then the weightloss in 2019...maybe all were the first signs of the disease starting to progress

The thing is though, with the 2017 injury she explicitly said she was getting out of the car, twisted her back badly and then ended up with a sore back with spasms and was back in full form by her shows in December. So I don’t know if that one could actually be linked to her condition now.

Yes but “long time” can mean different things to different people… it could be like 5/6 years before she was diagnosed or could be 1-3 years before she was diagnosed. I’d imagine if something this painful only started 6 months ago it would feel like a lifetime to someone in terrible pain.

This is pushing it, she said she was tired and had a fever… this was in her 20s…. Maybe she had the flu? Not everything since she was born was because of SPS.

Rosie and Celine were great. It would be nice to see them reunited. Side note, it does seem Rosie has gotten less animated/chipper over the years. Not knocking her, just an observation.

Yet she was replaced with Ellen, who to me always reeked fakeness. And on top of personally I didn’t find her dry humor funny at all. I even enjoyed Rosie on The View, too bad Celine was never on that show during her years.

These two are like day and night. Ellen is a narcissist, Rosie is an empath. She has had her bad times but I would choose her over Ellen any day!

 

On a side note, James Corden is like the female Ellen in my books.

Ellen changed a lot over the years too. I think her show went on for too long.

 

Rosie's show was brilliant. She was one of a kind... a true FAN of the people who came onto her show.

Noooo Ellen came years after. Rosie was originally replaced with Caroline Rhea, whom I absolutely adore and was very sad that her show didn’t last. I can’t remember who permanently took that spot after though. That was a morning slot.

I’m sure the postponement of Vegas and her health have put this on hold. I don’t think they just decided to sit there and twiddle their thumbs.

I do think when the right time is right, a new documentary already at the ready would be great for her return. People love a good documentary series.

 

I hope it is already being put together.

It would be very brave though, if Céline allowed the camera's in during her whole battle in the hospital...

Depends on the kind of documentary you're making. Some take years to put together. If they're just doing a Behind The Music kind of career overview peppered with overly dramatic "hardships to overcome", they could slap that together pretty quickly. If the plan was to follow her for an extended period and really dig into her life and history, that could easily take a couple of years (I doubt she'd have been on board with that level of depth, although the documentarian does have a history of substance). Regardless, who knows what wrenches/opportunities for the documentary got thrown into the mix between Covid and her diagnosis/treatment. It could inadvertently end up having been exactly the right time for it to become far more substantive than it would have been.
