So they just write whatever because they don't know any more than we do. The film producers are happy that people hear about the project though even if most of the articles aren't accurate. He said he’s read the script and that Celine’s part is a wonderful part, he apparently said upon reading the script, “that’s a wonderful part but who’s going to play Celine Dion?” and was told Celine herself is doing it! While we all want Celine to have her Oscar-worthy performance someday, I actually think it's great that this is a feel-good movie -- and I'm happy that the plot celebrates Celine Dion as an artist / singer. I think this will be an excellent way to get her casual fans invested in her again. (All of those Oprah watchers will eat this movie up!)Perfect for Celine's legacy.And, who knows, maybe Celine will get another Oscar nominated song!
