It’s not the kind of movie I was expecting but it’s news and good news.

Is it possible that Play Me Like a Love Song is the song Diane Warren said it will be released next year? Maybe for this movie?

The chances are bigger that she will just appear for 2 minutes and than bye bye, than she will have a leading role.

Think it will be more like in The Muppets.

 

The Muppets is more like a Music Video. No acting. Even lines lol

Think it will be more like in The Muppets.

 

If she were that small a role they wouldn't have included her as a starring cast member in the first official announcement for this movie. They wouldn't have gone out of their way to cast her along with the 2 main leads before anyone else. And the leads wouldn't be mentioning her in their tweets as part of the main cast/crew.

 

Her role might not be as big as the two others, that's obvious, but it's not a cameo.

This isn't the muppets. It's a dramatic film so even if it's a small role it'll be better than anything she's gotten before.

They are classifying this as a romantic "drama" not a rom-com. Interesting. The thing that has me puzzled is one of the descriptions says they find love with the help of Celine Dion. To me that means more then 2 lines. :shrug: Edited by DionFanAlways

I understand this as the music by the singer that Celine plays in the movie will inspire the love story, not real Celine music. But who knows...

Or maybe Aline's music... :giggle:

Nothing to be surprised about really, they only posted today on socials about yesterday’s “moon” news in reference to her “water from the moon” song, when everyone else had already commented and moved on.

 

Her team are a bunch of clueless amateurs, who don’t think/care about what they do. Their finger has been off the pulse since their last boss “Aldo” left... I just keep thinking what would Rene have made of this chapter.

 

He was so organised and had a plan and which is why he chose Aldo to take over... and now it’s like let’s grab anything that comes our way and hope for the best, we don’t need anyone who is qualified or who has experience.

 

Sad, state of affairs in my opinion.

And who cares if they post about water from the moon a day after the fact? It won't kill anyone... :o

The point I’m making is that her team always post news after we have already learned about days in advance, from third party sources in recent years, it’s just pathetic.

 

I’m one of her biggest fans, which is why I am also very critical, and i hope I’m proved wrong and I’ll hold my hands up if I am in the future, but this current team have brought nothing to her career or to her fans!

But TM doesn't post only for the die-hard fans who already know all Celine-related news. There are other people out there who don't follow Celine every single day. Social media is just that... if something is posted a day or two later, I don't see what it changes at the end of the day. No wonder why people are so stressed in this world. :D

Just making a point that most other artists teams reveal news first before third parties break the news.

 

Amazing how fast though her team released a cringe and seriously unprofessional post a few years back on her socials to the x dancer, about not believing what was written about him regarding him being controlling over Celine etc and that the “inner circle” have his back... lmao!!!

Ofc she's the big name in the cast but Priyanka has 26m followers and is pretty well known, and Sam is the star of a popular tv series. If Celine's role was as insignificant as you think it is they would mention her as part of the cast but not label her as one of the stars.

 

Maybe you don't want to get too excited but there's nothing that says she's a cameo. Maybe you don't care but why not just enjoy the news (or let others enjoy) and wait until we know more about her role?

Well, Deadline is the one who broke the news in the first place; they're an industry trade and generally reliable.
