We knew it before, didn't we? It is an American version of an already existing German movies, and there is a role of a famous singer. So, it was obvious Celine was gonna play herself.

 

I personally don't mind. I can only see Celine playing a good & serious role in a French movie, not American one. But I don't speak French, so I am not sure whether I'd care that much about it.

This is the first movie I've ever seen where the cast is posting beforehand and sharing photos from the set. Maybe I'm out of touch, but it seems very ususual.

Maybe Celines part was already filmed while she was still on tour, or even together with the Loreal ads, and now they shoot the rest. We know that Celine likes to do several things st the same time to save time.

She is gonna sing the soundtrack from the movie a year later at some TV show,where she is going to talk about her new English album and tour.

The movie hadn't even been cast yet and she'll at least have scenes with one of the lead actors. If filming is almost done then that means she's been in the UK these past couple of weeks. Minimum the two required for quarantine.

 

It surprises me to read they're almost done. It had been said in an article that filming was to finish next year in the US. Perhaps that info was wrong.
