Well it's not bad for a debut and more importantly, her music will get more exposure - which is a big bonus for any veteran artist.

And some directors might think about her for some projects after seeing her in this movie. Positive thinking, why not?

Of course if the storyline is about Celine's music, they will have to include some of her classics but I really hope Celine's team and Sony will push for some new music. A rare occasion for Veteran Celine to feature her music to the masses! Edited by Xpresso

How could anyone think that a movie with a plot that involves the leads finding inspiration in Celine Dion's music wasn't going to feature her big hits?

Otherwise they could have created a made up singer for the role.

 

But her classics being featured doesn't mean there won't be at least one new song. We don't know either way because we actually hardly know anything about what or how much Celine is doing in this movie.

Based on practically every movie out there that features music in any big way they almost always have at least one original soundtrack. Especially romance movies, even more so if they have a big artist.

 

Also, Sam isn't in charge of the music for the movie. Even if he wants this song to feature doesn't mean it will, at least not this remix.

I think it's cute how much of a fan he is of Celine, and how vocal he's been about his excitement to work with her.

To be honest, I don't care about Celine's film career.

 

I just want her talent to be shown again and again as many times as possible, even her older hits. And to hear her voice in surround sound in cinematic audio quality...you cannot beat that.

 

So, for me, I would love for original music. But I would be fine with her older hits. That said, I hope and believe we'll probably get at least one new song. Or maybe some Courage song that got lost in the shuffle.

I remember watching Titanic in hd (it wasn’t really hd...) in the cinema in 2012 and MHWGO came at the end. I must say that the sound wasn’t particularly spectacular at all. I didn’t even hear a 5.1 version, rather it was just loud and that’s it.

Very possible that it was recorded for an upcoming project we didn't know at the time.

First mention I heard of Celine's desire to act. She was reading over scripts...in 1997! See the very end of the interview.

So.... I’m guessing Celine must have been there at some point. Otherwise I’d doubt he’d mention “can you imagine” in referencing the possibility of giving her covid, rather than just say “oh she wasn’t here” or “she’s filmed separately”... I don’t know it just seems to me that she was at least there in some form or another at some point

I have to admit I'm not excited about this project. This doesn't sound intriguing at all, I think Celine deserves more.
