I wouldn't call an album like OH a masterpiece, but I agree on all the rest you said!

for me it definitely is a masterpiece, because that’s the album I listen to most of the time, more than her most commercially successful albums

She doesn't need more covers on her shows, she needs to sing her own songs, that she has many and pretty good ones that remain unperformed in her albums.

Oh no I didn’t mean it in a weird invasive way, its even that she's not been seen at all and even some fan has snapped it and put it on IG... i always get nervous when we dont hear a peep for a while lol

I love the 2017 setlist. I would however add “Destin”, “J’irai où tu iras”, L’amour existe encore”, “Ce n’était qu’un rêve”, “Je ne vous oublie pas” and “Ma faille” or “Tu sauras”.

 

I would also like if she performed the medley: “Je danse dans ma tête”/ “Des mots qui sonnent”/ “Incognito” like she did in Une seule fois.

 

I would remove from the setlist: the whole English uptempo section, “L’étoile” and “Et je t’aime encore”.

Speaking of lipping, my fear for this tour is that we’ll see the much higher ratio of lipped v live songs creeping back in to the setlist. Although it is understandable to protect her voice throughout the long run, it is a bit disappointing because if I’m being honest one of the main reasons I enjoyed the live 2017 tour so much was due in part to the amount of songs she actually sang live during that tour, songs that had been lipped at previous concerts/vegas shows ie IDAN, TR etc.

 

I do feel the songs lose a bit of their intensity on stage when they’re lipped and her lipping is becoming more and more noticeable these days due to her over exaggerating mouth quivering and hand gestures etc.

 

When you think about it we have one new song in FOMO and already it’s mostly lipped and will continue to be I would imagine so let’s hope this is not an indication of what’s ahead.

I've been seeing articles about her spending time with Maman Dion, whose supposed to be not doing so well if I've interpreted correctly. That and with her being on vacation and prepping for the tour I'm not surprised we haven't seen much of her.

I don't find anything strange or wrong about this one, It has good vibe, energy, actually it would be lovely if

she will have more optimstic, full of energy songs like this one. For a reason IA did so well on charts back then.

Happens to be her latest hit before IDAN and one of her signature songs today, that makes everybody sing along and dance to it. Even more successful at her shows than ANDHC, which was far more successful in charts worldwide. But I'm Alive has become a classic in her shows now. Far from "cringey". Other different thing is that she lost the energy of the original version when she performs it today, but people still love it.

I was listening to the radio and there was a Sia's song. God forbid, she didn't stop mumbling words, and it always sounds the same. I couldn't understand even about what she was mumbling.

 

 

Um... enunciation does not a quality songwriter make.

Say that for the 1F&4T album. If the adlibs we can hear in the studio versions of songs like Apprends-moi, Retiens-moi or Rien n’est vraiment fini are good enough and a pleasure to listen to, the free jam sessions during the recording in Vegas were just pure bliss. And sadly they either shortened or cut most of these improvisations where Celine truly shows how good she can get in the studio.
