AdrienneM Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:02 PM Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:02 PM And then I'm afraid the most up-tempo moment we get in the show is when the fans start singing the Seven Nation Army tune and she feels obliged to follow and dance a bit with help of her orchestra Sorry I'm highly disappointed after the Hyde Park fiasco show. She says she's going to perform new songs and surprises and then you get... what we got. I'm not anticipating anything anymore. Well FOMO was new song, and Imagine was a new surprise song.... plus we should know by know after how ever many decades we’ve all supported Celine, in fact any artist, take it with a grain of salt. We were lucky to get FOMO at all if im being honest and there was never a guarantee of new music. I mean shes said so many things that me being dissapointed at her statements is looong gone. Quote
AdrienneM Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:07 PM Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:07 PM Terre, DUAM, JSP, PQTME and SSDA will likely be used again. Probably EUS as well and JTE seems like it will stick around for a while. But Zora, Immensité, ONCP, SCAR, L'étoile, A Vous, Le Ballet, Ziggy, TLBSEPT can all be replaced? Not saying that she won't keep some of them, but there's loads of songs that are just as well-known that could replace them.Don't forget her Québec shows tend to be a bit longer too. As much as I was obsessed with Le Ballet, it would be fairly absurd to recycle the act in Québec. Literally everyone in the audience has already seen the bootleg. On Ne Change Pas is still a big song for Celine. And SCAR, Letoile and A Vous were put in to promote her album, which she can still do as it was a big success in Francophone countries. Immensite she clearly likes to perform as is the case with TLBSEPT. Zora, Le Ballet and Ziggy along with TSMGO (which she hasnt performed in over 18 months) and the 2017 medley are the only things i see changing. Out of the 24 songs she performed in the french 2017 shows i can only see 5-6 being replaced, most of which with regional hits such as Lamour Existe Encore and some of the EUS songs with FOMO, Courage and Ashes Quote
sarit_celine Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:50 PM Posted July 24, 2019 at 08:50 PM Do you think with this Tour.. ahmm "Courage" she will visit some countries she never ever visited before? (Please whisper her to visit Israel God damn.) 1 Quote "Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City HallNeeded where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"
Shaun Posted July 24, 2019 at 09:07 PM Posted July 24, 2019 at 09:07 PM I still find it astonishing they’re starting the tour months before the album is released. I hope any lukewarm response to the new unknown songs doesn’t mean they’re dropped from the set list before the tour truly does go global. 1 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.

I hope any lukewarm response to the new unknown songs doesn’t mean they’re dropped from the set list before the tour truly does go global. Well i can only forsee FOMO and Courage (maybe) and the first single (if its not Courage) being performed in the first place before the album comes out. If they decide the album could come slightly before November, if the demand is huge. Quite a few artists seem now to begin a tour to build hype before the drop. Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes come to mind as those who started a month or two before their album dropped, they however revealed the tracklist, Celine hasnt Quote

How can they expect to have any great reception/reaction to a new song if no one has heard the thing before!? At least my shows dates are after the release of the album. It's comical..... right? Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
SuperLove4Celine Posted July 25, 2019 at 12:43 AM Posted July 25, 2019 at 12:43 AM I guess I'm way more optimistic than some of you. I don't expect them to recycle the 2017 setlist at all. I think they usually try to make a show where most of the attending public knows at least 80 % of the songs. But with this being Quêbec, that still leaves many options. She's had so many hits there and she always seems super excited to perform her French material. Of course she can't get around singing PQTME, but recycle the entire setlist? I really don't think so. Besides, this show is supposed to accompany an English album, so I'm almost certain it will contain more English songs than the 2017 setlist. This is the song I hope gets performed in Quebec: https://youtu.be/O-ZpodULH6o 1 Quote

sebulba Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:30 AM Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:30 AM There are only Canada&US dates, no european dates yet. I hope they will announce them around December/January, because if sooner, I need a bank robbery. Btw, do you everybody think, european ticket prices will be the same as US prices? I hope we will have other options than ticketmaster, because I can't do the 'last-minute-ticket-buying', as I have to book flight tickets too. Thanks for the reply! I also hope they release dates soon. So I can start saving some cash. 1 Quote < >

mirage Posted July 25, 2019 at 09:15 AM Posted July 25, 2019 at 09:15 AM I also hope that most of the setlist contains new songs from the beginning. Not that she is doing 2 new ones, and after the album is released they add more. I was listening to the radio and there was a Sia's song. God forbid, she didn't stop mumbling words, and it always sounds the same. I couldn't understand even about what she was mumbling. Some people here speaks about the need of another anthem song, that has this genuis touch, freshness, uniqueness, Sia can't come close to producing quailty songs like ANDHC nor ever will, point. She loves to sing that song.I don't find anything strange or wrong about this one, It has good vibe, energy, actually it would be lovely ifshe will have more optimstic, full of energy songs like this one. For a reason IA did so well on charts back then. 3 Quote "Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City HallNeeded where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"

Happens to be her latest hit before IDAN and one of her signature songs today, that makes everybody sing along and dance to it. Even more successful at her shows than ANDHC, which was far more successful in charts worldwide. But I'm Alive has become a classic in her shows now. Far from "cringey". Other different thing is that she lost the energy of the original version when she performs it today, but people still love it. Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

The tempo is too slow and she puts no energy or excitement into it, she looks bored to death. It was great after not performing it for a couple of years and in 2015 when she did it acoustic you could see she was enjoying it alot, but then she very quickly got bored... now even in the full version it lacks energy and because her voice is deeper, it sounds lower than the studio version.. theres no life in it any more 1 Quote

fred Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:20 PM Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:20 PM I wouldn't call an album like OH a masterpiece, but I agree on all the rest you said! I personally don’t want any songs from the LMBTL album on the tour - with the exception of LMBTL (this song is good). I don’t care about any songs from the TC album at all either (they had their time during the TC world tour and I think it’s enough). I’d rather have a majority of songs from the ANDHC and OH albums, as well as some good songs from couage. She never toured the ANDHC and OH albums and I thinks that’s such a shame! She should definitely make up for this, because these albums are her masterpieces. I’m glad she made up for 1f&4t in 2016. This tour was magical! Quote Peace and love to all.
fred Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:31 PM Posted July 25, 2019 at 03:31 PM I think the D'Elles album most be one of her most neglected right? How many songs have she done from that except ESINERQU and that quite boring Immensité? It would be wonderful to hear A Cause, Je Cherche L'Ombre, Je Ne Suis Pas Celle, On S'Est Aimé Ā Cause live... “A cause” seriously needs to be part of the Francophone setlist. Especially if they do an arrangement closer to the radio mix sent to radio. 2 Quote Peace and love to all.
